By his wounds you have been healed

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24
Lord Jesus, thank you for your amazing grace and love, for bearing our sins on your body on a tree in Calvary and paying our ransom with your wounds that we may be healed. I know that no one took your life from you, but you laid it down of your own accord. I know that it was not the nails that held you on that cross, but but my sins and your love for our Father and for us all.
Help me not to stray like sheep, but live in righteousness, O Lord, be my Shepherd and overseer of my soul and guide me to your side, I pray in your precious name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
