For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing

​For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Father God, thank you for sending us your Son, that we may be saved and see your great power and glory. I know how blessed I am to know what was done for me at the cross and I am so thankful and grateful.  Help me be a good witness for you with my actions, O Lord,  to be mindful that whatever I do, is a reflection of your love so that others may come to know you and love you as I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
