By grace you have been saved, through faith

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Merciful and loving Father in heaven, there is no end to your amazing grace and unconditional love. Thank you for reminding me that I have been saved through faith, not because of what I say or do, but because it is your gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus, to all those who believe. Cover me with your love, O God, stir in me a fire that the world cannot explain and may my works be done only in gratitude and to bring honor and glory to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
