God is our refuge and strength

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, 
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, 
though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
 Psalm 46:1-3

Mighty God, you are the Lord who speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.
 Have mercy on us, O God, according to your abundant mercy.
Help us remember not to fear because you are with us, help us focus on the things of your kingdom and not on our fears of the unknown.
Keep us under your loving care and strengthen our faith as we keep trusting in you daily, I pray in Jesus' name.


 Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
