So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19 Merciful Father, I humbly come to you today to ask for your forgiveness, to ask you to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Teach me patience, remind me to listen and never to react in anger, Father God. Give me a loving, forgiving and gentle spirit, one that is after your own heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:13-14 Father God, cleanse me from my sins, let them not have dominion over me that I may be blameless and innocent as a child is in your sight. May the words that come out of my mouth and my thoughts be acceptable to you, O Lord, and may you give me strength and wisdom to keep walking the path that leads to eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22. Father God, I cast all my cares upon you today, I bring my fears, burdens and worries at your feet. I trust that no matter what I face today, you will take care of it according to your will, O Lord. Please keep reminding me not to worry, but to just trust in you and I will not be shaken, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100 I worship you, O Lord, with gladness and joy, you are my God and my King and I am so thankful and honored to be your child. I am thankful to know that you made me and you love me with unconditional and everlasting love. I ask that you fill my heart with the joy and that your faithfulness continues to to be with me and my generations, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. Psalm 19:1-5 The heavens declare how g reat you are, O God, you are the creator of all, God almighty, and yet, you care for each one of us. Thank you Lord, for being my God, for hearing my prayers and for always being at my side. Please continue to watch over me, bless me, Lord, be with my family and loved ones and may your loving arms always be around us I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 Thank you Lord in heaven for reminding me that I can boldly approach your throne of grace with confidence in my time of need. I thank you for sending your Son Jesus to this world to show us the way, to show us your mercy and grace and to teach us that we can come to you with all of our cares and needs in his Holy Name. May my life reflect the love I have for you and may I walk in the footsteps of my Savior, Jesus, I pray. Amen

But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.  2 Timothy 2:23-26 Creator of all, I humbly come to you today asking you to change my heart, to give me gentle and noble heart. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit, that I may walk in humility, walk in love and be your humble servant. Teach me to be patient, O God, seal my lips when they need to be sealed and put your words in my mouth when you want me to speak that I may be used as an instrument for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:10-14 Father God, help me live a life worthy of you, to please you in all I do and bear fruit for your kingdom. Thank you for bringing me out of darkness and forgiving my sins. Please strengthen me according to your glorious might, O Lord, help me be a light to this dark world, to be joyful and thankful for all you have given me, cherishing every minute I am alive and making the most of each day, I pray in Jesus' name . Amen

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20-21 Lord, make my faith grow, help me have the faith I need, faith in your promises and in your Word. No matter what negativity arises in my life, no matter what I face today, help me keep my eyes focused on you, O God. May my faith in you continue to grow as I feed my soul with your Word and may I be patient as I wait upon you Lord, remembering that I am already in your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:3-6 Give wisdom and understanding O Lord, guide my path and keep me walking the straight and narrow way that leads to eternal life. May I not lean on my own understanding, but put my trust in you alone, may your Word be my guiding light and may your Spirit fill me with understanding as I submit my life to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.You will be like a well-watered garden,like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11 Guide my ways, my paths and satisfy my needs, O Lord. Let me feel your presence in my life and hold me in your loving arms. May my feet go where you want them to go and may you strengthen my life as I do your will and walk in the footsteps of my Savior, Jesus, I pray in his holy name. Amen

Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always s trive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Forgiving and merciful Lord in heaven, I want to live my life as you have asked me to live. Give me a pure and clean heart, that I may love as you do, forgive as you do and strive to do what is good in your sight. Help me be patient with others and to be thankful in all circumstances remembering there are people in worse situations than my own, O God, help me rejoice even in suffering and fill me with your unconditional love for others, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:13 Father God, remind me not to thirst for anything this world has to offer and the things that will never satisfy my soul. I want to drink of your living water and be filled with your spirit, O Lord, that I may overflow with the joy of your salvation and hope for eternal life. May I thirst and hunger for your word daily, may I share your waters with others and may I be filled with your goodness and grace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 Merciful Lord, I want to claim your promises today, I want the peace that you have offered, the peace that this world could never give or understand. I ask that you fill me with your comfort and love, that I will not be afraid and trust that you will handle anything I need to face today. May my heart not be troubled as I put my life in your hands I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4 Father God, creator of all, I want to belong to you and not this world, I want to do your will and live my life to honor you and give you glory. Help me focus on the things above and not on my problems or earthly things that will take me away from you, O Lord. Give me hunger for your word, the desire to live for you and cleanse my heart from all unrighteousness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. Let me not be put to shame, Lord, for I have cried out to you. Psalm 31:15-17 Father in heaven, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you for reminding me that my life is in your hands and nothing happens in my life unless you allow it. Even if I don't understand your purpose, my God, help me trust in you, shine your light on me and strengthen me. Save me in your unfailing love and may everything in my life work according your purpose and glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws. I have suffered much; preserve my life, Lord, according to your word. Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws. Psalm 119:105-108 Teach me your ways, O Lord, guide my feet on the right path and give me wisdom to understand your word. I want to follow and obey you, Father God, I want to praise you and give you glory. Please be at my side, preserve my life according to your word and promises, strengthen my faith as I wait on you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth and find out what pleases the Lord.   Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:8-10 Father God, help me live my life full of light, goodness, righteousness and truth , that my ways and my life will be pleasing to you. May your light shine on me, O Lord, may I be a beacon of light for others and may I never walk in darkness again, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:10-13 Thank you Father God, for your encouragement and promises, for assuring me that you will always be with me and will uphold me in your righteous hand. Help me not to live in fear, O Lord, but strengthen my faith and keep reminding me that your are the Lord, my God and I am in your hands, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you. Psalm 84:10-12 Lord Almighty, you are my sun and shield and I am so grateful to have your love and protection, thankful for another day and another opportunity to serve you. May my walk be blameless in your eyes today, O God, may your love and mercy be with me today as it has been and may I bring you honor in all I do that I may dwell in your house forever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8 God of my life, I thank you for your everlasting and unconditional love, for being merciful to me, even though I don't deserve you. Direct my steps, O Lord, guide my path, may your song dwell in my heart each day and night and may your blessings be upon me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:5-8 You are my rock and my fortress, O God, my salvation and hope come from you and I am so thankful to have you as my Lord and my God. May my faith remain strong and faithful regardless of my circumstances, may I be constantly reminded that you are my refuge and strength and that you will never leave me, Father God. Hold me close to you and let me feel the comfort of your love and peace as I pass through troubled times, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Psalm 139:1-6 Search my heart, O God, search my thoughts and see if there is any offensive way in me, if there is anything unpure and unrighteous, anything that would hinder my prayers to you, help me get rid of it; lead me in the way everlasting. May my thoughts and meditation of my heart delight you and bring you glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
