He guards the course of the just

​​For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Proverbs 2:6-8 Father God, thank you for your promises, thank you for watching over me and being my shield. I ask that you help me walk blameless before you and surrender my life to you. Help me give you control to guide the course of my life O Lord, guard me and protect me from anything that would steer me away from you. Give me your heavenly wisdom, knowledge and understanding as I faithful follow you and do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

faith to move a mountain

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20-21 Lord, make my faith grow, help me have the faith I need, faith in your promises and in your Word. No matter what negativity arises in my life, no matter what I face today, help me keep my eyes focused on you, O God. May my faith in you continue to grow as I feed my soul with your Word and may I be patient as I wait upon you Lord, remembering that I am already in your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I will praise you for ever and ever

​​​​Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:1-3 I will exalt you, my God, my King, I give you praise and honor and thank you for your mighty and wonderful works and abundant goodness. You are gracious and compassionate and though I can't ever understand your amazing and everlasting love, I am thankful to have it. May I honor you and praise you in all I do, O Lord, may I walk faithfully, obediently and put all my trust in you always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Clothe yourselves with compassion

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another, if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3 :12-144 Heavily Father, I thank you for your loving kindness and your compassion, I ask that you help me be more like you, to clothe myself with the same love you have for your people. To forgive as you do, to be kind, humble and gentle, O God, and to give up any resentments I have, to let go of the past and focus on you and to be thankful for the blessings I have today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He makes me lie down in green pastures

​The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. Psalm 23:1-3 Thank you for guiding my path, Almighty God, for your abundant blessings, thank you for leading me to victory over my struggles and burdens. Help me to trust in you always, O God, come into my heart now, refresh my soul and fill me with your amazing peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is near to all who call on him

The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. Psalm 145:13-18 Blessed and righteous Father in heaven, thank you for your love and promises, thank you for taking care of all my needs. Please continue to hear my prayers, continue to bless me and uphold me in your righteous and loving hand, O God, be near me each day as my heart heart trusts in you and never let me go, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Love the Lord your God with all your heart

​Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. impress them on your children. T alk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:5-7 ​Mighty God in heaven, I do love you with all my heart, soul and strength and I thank you for being my God, my rock and refuge. I thank you for your protection and blessings and I ask that you continue to be merciful to me and my loved ones. May the desire of my heart be to keep your commandments and impressed them on those around me by leading by example, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow

​But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34 Thank you Father God for being my refuge, my hope and my strength, for reminding me that you are in control of everything and I should not worry about the future. Help me replace worry with faith, O Lord, to remember to seek your kingdom and righteousness and you will take care of everything else in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For God so loved the world

​For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17 Thank you merciful Father in heaven for loving us so much that you sent your Son to this world that we may not perish, but have eternal life in your kingdom. ive me boldness to spread the good news to others, O God, that they too will come to know your loving Son and be saved and filled with your love, joy, peace and hope, in the precious name of my Savior' Jesus I pray. Amen

May your unfailing love be with us

​​We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:20-22 Sovereign Lord, you are God my Savior, my shield and my hope, thank you for your eternal encouragement and your living hope. May your unfailing love fill my heart with all joy and overflow with peace, O God, strengthen me in every good deed and word as I put all my hope in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For by grace you have been saved through faith

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10 Eternal and loving God in heaven, I am so thankful for all your blessings, I’m thankful to be saved by your grace through faith and that I do not have to live under condemnation anymore because you have truly set me free through your precious and blessed Son, Jesus. I'm thankful for the gift of salvation and that I don't have to do anything to earn it because the price was already paid at the cross. May I walk in the footsteps of my Savior each day I am here on earth, I pray in his holy name. Amen

He is not here: for he is risen

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Matthew 28:5-6 Lord Jesus, you are our King, enthroned on high, you sit at the right hand of our Father in heaven, you had victory over death and you paid for our sins, while we were yet sinners. Help us set our hope in you, O Lord, to stand firm in our faith, to surrender and submit all to you. Help us reflect your glory with unveiled faces, that we may become more like you each day, full of love and compassion for others, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

I am the light of the world

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 Lord Jesus, thank you for your amazing love, thank you for taking my place on the cross. May your light guide me to eternal blessings as I follow you, may my light shine before men in such a way that they may see a reflection of you, in me. Help me put on the armor of light, O Lord, and walk as child of light and not of darkness, I pray in your precious and glorious name. Amen

​For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

​For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25 Thank you Lord for giving us your Son even though we did nothing to deserve His love and sacrifice, thank you for the redemption that came thorough Him to those who believe. I know that I fall short of your glory and I humbly come at the foot of the cross asking to wash away my sins, to cleanse me from all unrighteousness, make me pure and clean in your sight, O God, as I choose to follow Jesus, your Son and my Redeemer, in His Name I pray. Amen

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 Blessed redeemer, thank you for your amazing sacrifice on the cross, for humbling yourself and carrying the cross, you who knew no sin, paid the ransom for all while we were yet sinners. Thank you for showing us how much you love us, O Lord, may we glorify your name in all we do, may we put all our hope and trust in you, who delivered us form our sins, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

​He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross

​He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 My most loving, kind and merciful Lord, thank you for bearing my sins on the cross, thank you for loving me so much that you gave you life as a living sacrifice. I know that nothing I will ever go through can compare to the price you paid at Calvary, O Lord Jesus, help me to discern your will for my life, to live for righteousness in your presence, and share the good news of your kingdom with others, I pray. Amen

I am the resurrection and the life

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25 Thank you Father in heaven for delivering us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of your beloved Son, Jesus. Fill us with your love and your Holy Spirit that we may walk in your way that you opened for us with such great sacrifice. Help us, O Lord, over flow us with your Holy Spirit, fills us with more of you, Lord, fill us with compassion and love for the lost, that we may share the great gift of eternal life with them, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The plans of the Lord stand firm forever

​​But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Psalm 33:11 Heavenly Lord, your word is right and true; you are faithful in all you do, you love righteousness and justice; the earth is full of your unfailing love and your plans for each of us stand firm forever. May you bless all those whose hope is in your unfailing love, those who rejoice and trust in your holy name, O God, you are our help and our shield, may your unfailing love be with us as we put our hope in you and may your plans for our lives stand firm forever, in Jesus' name. Amen

All Scripture is God-breathed

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Father God, I am so thankful to have the privilege of reading your Word and I am sorry I sometimes take it for granted, knowing there are so many who cannot read it. I'm thankful for my relationship with you and being able to spend time with you through your Word, though prayer, in worship, and in everyday life. I want to feel your presence, your blessings and your love, O Lord, teach me your ways, equip me for every good work and make my heart your home, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let us love one another, for love comes from God

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 Thank you, Righteous Father in heaven, for your amazing and unconditional love, a love greater and deeper than I can fathom. Thank you for watching over me and loving me before I even knew you. Help me love as you do, O God, help me be your child and teach my heart to love the way that you love, with pure and unconditional love, I pray in your Son's Jesus precious name. Amen

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord

​“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 Father God, thank you for all the blessings you have already given me, thank you for the blessings that are still yet to be received. Help me put all my hope and trust in your unfailing and everlasting love, O God, may my soul rest without fear or worry knowing that you are still sitting on the throne no matter what goes around me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
