My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil  Psalm 141:3-4 Father God, set your guard over my mouth, help me speak gentle and kind words of life and healing, words that build up rather than tear down; let them be sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Seal my lips from all unrighteousness, O God, remind me that I will be accountable for every word that comes out of my mouth. Don't let me be drawn to what is evil in your eyes, but draw me close to you and never let me go, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;  the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. Isaiah 33:5-6 Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress, give us wisdom and knowledge and lead us to the path of righteousness. Let us remember that this world is only temporary, O God, and in you, we can have the key to treasures that will last for eternity, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;  wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.  Psalm 51:7  Merciful and gracious Father, I want to be clean and pure in your eyes, I want to be cleansed from all unrighteousness. I humbly come to your throne of grace to ask forgiveness for my sins, wash me, cleanse me and make me a new creation, O Lord, help me walk in your ways and do what is good, pure and righteous in your eyes, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth. When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. Acts 13:48 Father God, I thank you for the privilege of knowing your word, of being able to read and share it without fear of persecution. Thank you for choosing me, O Lord, help me to be a vessel for you, a light to this dark wold, to reach those who feel lost and hopeless. Help me share and honor your word, help me be a living testimony of your love that others may come to know you, be filled with your joy and Spirit and have eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us;  the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46:10-11 Blessed Lord God Almighty, thank your for being my God, my fortress and my shield in times of trials. Teach me to be still and trust in you and your plans for me, O Lord, help me surrender to your will and hear your voice as I find peace being still in your loving arms, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.  Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Blessed and merciful Lord, keep me on guard at all times, focused on you and not on the world. Help me stand firm in my faith, in your love and tenderness and be courageous when I face uncertain futures trusting that you are always standing by my side. May everything I do, be done from the love I have for you, O Lord, may my actions always bring you honor and glory and draw me closer to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;  I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8 Dear heavenly Father, instruct me and teach me the way I should go, put your desires for me in my heart and help me accomplish them. May you keep your loving eye upon me, O God, as I give you glory, praise and honor in everything I do and as I put all my hope and trust in your unfailing love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  2 Corinthians 12:9 Lord God, Sometimes things happen in our lives that we cannot comprehend, sometimes we go through such troubled times and turmoil that we can't see past our hurt and pain. Help us trust in you completely, O God, help us remember that nothing comes as a surprise to you and that your grace is sufficient for us and your power will be made perfect in our weakness. Straighten us and fill us with your everlasting peace as we faithful follow you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10 My Lord and my God, I'm thankful to be your child, I'm thankful to have you as my fortified tower, when trouble comes my way, be my dwelling rock to which I may take refuge and find safety. May I walk without fear in this world trusting that whatever I face in this world is nothing comparing to your great and mighty power, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.  Ecclesiastes 3:11 Loving and gracious Father, we can't never fathom how amazing and great you are, you who created the heavens and the earth and everything in it, but we know that you are still in control of this world. Help me remember that everything will be made beautiful in your time, O God, give me patience and straighten my faith while I wait and fill my heart with your joy and hope, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.  Romans 12:2 Lord, renew my mind and heart today, help me put away any selfishness, anger, bitterness and anything that will keep me away from you. May your loving Spirit transform me into the person you want me to be, O God, and may your perfect will be done in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets. Psalm 50:1 Mighty God in heaven, you are my stronghold in times of trouble and I am thankful that I can take refuge in the shadow of your mighty wings and thankful for your great compassion and love. Help me trust in your unfailing love, O Lord, strengthen my faith and keep reminding me that you are mighty and everything is under your control, from the rising of the sun to where it sets, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:10-12 Loving Father, I thank you for being so patient with me, I ask that you help me seek peace and pursue it. Help me to love deeply, be compassionate, humble and obedient that I may inherit your blessings that can never perish, spoil or fade. Guard my lips, O Lord, and take away anything that may hinder my prayers so that you never turn your eyes away from me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end.   Proverbs 16:2-4 Mighty and loving God in heaven, I know I can make all the plans I want, but without your help and blessings they will not succeed. I commit everything I do to you, O Lord, I ask that you bless me as I put my trust in you. Give me a pure and clean heart, lead me the way I should go and teach me your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3 Thank you merciful Lord in heaven for your promises, your protection and for always watching over me. Keep reminding me that I should not live my life in fear, but trust completely in you, O God, regardless of what happens, let me keep my eyes on you and remember your promises so that I will be at peace knowing that you will always be my help, my refuge and strength, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord,  the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—  he who watches over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3 I lift up my eyes to you my Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, where I know my help comes from. I know you make all things beautiful in your time and you never slumber. Please continue to watch over me, O Lord, continue to walk by my side and lift me up, as I bring you glory and honor in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me,  for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5 Father God, you are faithful, full of great mercy, love and kindness, and I am thankful to be your child. Show me your ways, O God, guide me in the ways I should choose, teach me to be humble and do what is right in your eyes and not the eyes of the world. Help me keep my eyes focused on you and put all my hope and trust in you always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18 Merciful and Mighty God in heaven, thank you for washing away my sins and making them white as snow, thank you for being so patient with me and loving me with a father's love. Help me to do what is right in your eyes, O Lord, to seek justice, to be faithful, willing and obedient as you continue to guide, lead me and bless me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.  Matthew 21:21-22 Lord, strengthen my faith and help me trust in you always, regardless of the circumstances around me, keep reminding me that you are bigger than any problem or challenge I may face. Help me remember that any plans I make for myself can be possible with your help through prayer, but you always know what is best for me and I need to leave it all in your hands and just trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6  Father God, thank you for the light you have given us, the knowledge of your precious Son, Jesus.  I want to follow you, surrender my will to you and give you my whole heart, O Lord. Help me start a new life, renew my mind, guide me, mold me and lead me to be the person you created me to be; help me focus on your will and not my plans or ambitions. May I walk with new hope and joy in my heart knowing that your plans for me are much better than what I could plan, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.  Psalm 84:11-12 Thank you God for being my sun and shield, for your amazing grace and everlasting love. Help me walk blameless in your sight, O Lord, fill me with your Spirit and strength and help me put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
