God commanded the light to shine out of darkness

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 

Father God, thank you for the light you have given us, the knowledge of your precious Son, Jesus.  I want to follow you, surrender my will to you and give you my whole heart, O Lord. Help me start a new life, renew my mind, guide me, mold me and lead me to be the person you created me to be; help me focus on your will and not my plans or ambitions. May I walk with new hope and joy in my heart knowing that your plans for me are much better than what I could plan, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18  Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Help me surrender my life to you, O Lord, to give you my heart and receive your love and abundant blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
