My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

  He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Mark 4:40-41 Lord Jesus, thank you for showing me your amazing power and strength and teaching me that with you, nothing is impossible. Help me put all my faith and trust in you and always remember that there is power in your wonderful Name, O Lord, because all things were created by your mighty and loving hands, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

  Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:7-8 Thank you Lord God, for being the same yesterday, today and forever, thank you because you keep showing me who you are, you keep showing me how real your love and mercies are. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to know you, O Lord, to follow you and to be your child. Please continue to rain down your blessings on me, on our Nation, on our families and friends and especially all those suffering and hurting, I pray in your Holy name. Amen

  You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.  John 15:16-17 Thank you Lord for your amazing and everlasting love, thank you for choosing me, a sinner, for loving me before I even knew you. Help me walk in your ways, O God, help me bear fruit for you and be a reflection of your perfect love. Hear my prayers as I ask them in the name of your Son, my wonderful Savior, Jesus and answer them according to your loving will, I pray. Amen

 F or though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 Merciful Lord, thank you for your word and promises, you have full power and authority over everything and nothing is too big for you to handle. Help me demolish any strongholds in my life, O God, equip me for battle against any spiritual forces, feed my spirit with your Word and strengthen my faith, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.  Guide me in your truth and teach me,  for you are God my Savior,  and my hope is in you all day long.  Psalm 25:4-5 Gracious Father in heaven, you are my Savior and hope, your ways are loving and faithful,  you guide the humble in what is right and teach them your ways.  Turn to me and be gracious to me, O Lord, grant me the desire to do only what pleases you,  teach me your paths, guide me in the way I should go, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

  You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. Nehemiah 9:6 Our living God in heaven, may your glorious name be praised, may it be exalted above all the nations. You, who made the great sea and the stars in the vast universe, you know and care for each and everyone of us. Thank you for your great mercy and grace, thank you for your everlasting and amazing love. Please continue to be with us, watch over us and send your mighty angels to protect us, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Colossians 3:2-4 Father in heaven, help me focus on the things above and keep me from things that will take me away from you. Give me hunger for your word, the desire to live for you and be obedient to your will. Cleanse my heart from all unrighteousness, and fill me with your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:10-12 Loving Father, I thank you for being so patient with me, I ask that you help me seek peace and pursue it. to love deeply, be compassionate, humble and obedient to your will that I may inherit your blessings that can never perish, spoil or fade. Guard my lips, O Lord, and take away anything that may hinder my prayers so that you never turn your eyes away from me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. Hebrews 3:13-14 Blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for reminding me to stay faithful, to stand strong in faith. Do not let me be deceived by sin, or hardened my heart against you. Let me hear your precious voice and never turn away you, our living God, but to follow you with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

  But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. 1 Corinthians 15:57 Thank you, Father God for giving me victory over sin through your Son, Jesus, thank you for being my strength when I am weak. May I stand firm in my faith, as you remind me that my battles belong to you and all I need to do is fight on my knees and trust in you. Help me let go of every fear, to lay them at your feet and have confidence that you will give me victory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will. The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me, and I have listened. Isaiah 50:4-5 Sovereign Lord, I come to your throne of grace for wisdom, guidance, strength, provision and protection. Open my ears each morning and let me hear your instructions, let me follow you with all of my heart. Help me meditate in your Word, O God, and filled with your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  For there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 Thank you Father God for sending your Son, Jesus, to bring salvation to us all, to purchase our freedom that we may enter your heavenly kingdom. Thank you for loving me more than I deserve and for the forgiveness of my sins. May I walk in righteousness before you, O Lord, and bring you honor and glory in all I do, I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

  Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance. Psalm 89:15 Mighty and loving God, the heavens praise your wonders, righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne and in your name I rejoice all day long. Help me walk in the light of your countenance, O Lord, be merciful and patient with me and wrap your loving arms all around me that I may feel your loving embrace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 Blessed Lord in heaven, I thank you for another day of life, for another opportunity to serve you, thank you for being my God. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, O Lord, help me discern your will and submit to it; may my prayers always be according to your will that they may be heard and answered, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Psalm 91:1-2 Blessed be our Lord, God, Almighty, who is our refuge and strength. Keep us under the shadow of your mighty wings and be our fortress and protection all the days of our lives. Fill us with your peace, joy and love and guide our steps as we trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name.Amen

  I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:10-11 Lord God, as I search your word daily, I ask that I may be lead by your Holy Spirit, give me wisdom and understanding that I may live according to your word. I know you have a plan for my life, O Lord, and I only ask that you guide me and give me the strength to go where you want me to go and do what you want me to do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 Lord God, I praise you for being my loving God and Father, I thank you for being my strength when I am weak, I thank you for reminding me that you hold all wisdom and power in your hands. Your mercy reaches to the skies, you care for each and everyone of us and you hear our prayers, you pick up all our pieces and mend our broken hearts. Put your loving arms around me and fill me with your everlasting peace, love and strength I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Lift up your eyes on high, and see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name,By the greatness of His might and the strength of His power; not one is missing. Isaiah 40:26 Everlasting God, Creator of the ends of the earth, thank you for being mindful of us, for being our sustainer, who keeps us and calls each of us by name, even as you keep the stars. Keep reminding me to lift up my eyes to you and your mighty power for help, O Lord, and not to focus on the things and struggles of this world because everything is under your control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 Creator of everything in heaven and on earth, I come boldly and confidently into your presence, to thank you and give you glory. Though I am the least deserving of all your children, you are always attentive to my prayers and my needs. Keep reminding me that you are able to do for me more than I could possibly imagine,as I keep trusting in you and living each day for you, I pray in Jesus name.Amen

  I have loved you with an everlasting love;  I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.  Jeremiah 31:3 Lord you are the King of glory, you are strong and mighty and I thank you for your everlasting love and unfailing kindness, I'm thankful to know that there has never been a time in all of eternity when I was not loved by you.  May my heart be rooted and established in your love, O Lord, as I get reminded daily that your unfailing care and mercies are new every morning, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.  Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.  Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.   Matthew 5:6-9 Father God, give me hunger for your precious Word and thirst for your righteousness,  fill me with your blessed Spirit and purify my heart.  May I be peacemaker, loving and merciful, O Lord, may I walk in the footsteps of my Savior,  that I may be worthy of being called your child, I pray in Jesus' name.   Amen
