My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.  Deuteronomy 13:4 Father God, I want to follow you with all of my heart, I want to serve you in all I can and obey your will. Help me hold fast to you, O Lord, strengthen my faith and love for you that I may honor you and be obedient to your will regardless of my situation, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling;  he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:5 Blessed Father in heaven, thank you for your protection and your amazing love, thank you for being the stronghold of my life. I ask that you continue to guard me, O God, to keep me safe in your loving arms and let me feel your presence in my life as I keep trusting in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.  Philippians 2:14-16 Father, I may not always like my situation, but I know that I am where I need to be at this time and that you always have a purpose for everything. Help me remember not to grumble, argue, complain about anything, but to shine like a star for you in every situation, O God, that I will be found blameless and pure in your eyes, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Galatians 5:22-23 Father God, I ask that your Spirit will fill my heart, that I may be filled with love, joy, peace and everything that is good and comes from you Father God. May I be the person you meant for me to be and may my life be a reflection of your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Help me be on my guard at all time, O God, to stand firm in my faith and be courageous knowing that you are always standing by my side. May everything I do, Father, be done out of the love I have for you, may my actions bring you honor and glory today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11 Father in heaven, I want to have the peace that only you can give, I want to live the life you want me to live. Help me rejoice in every situation, O God, to live in peace, to be an encouragement to others. May your love surround me and may I feel you close to me always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! Psalm 113:2-4 I pr aise your Holy Name, O God, thank you for another sunrise, for anther day of life, another opportunity to praise you and bring you honor in all I do. May you continue to bless my life, my family and my loved ones and may your love endure forever and ever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God Isaiah 43:1-3 Thank you heavenly Lord for being with me always, for your promises that no matter what I am goring through you will be there with me. I understand that you have better plans for me than I can understand, I only ask that you will give me the strength to handle whatever I need to face without fear, to keep being faithful to you and belive in your promises, in Jesus' name. Amen

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10 Thank you Father God for the gift of Salvation, for sending your Son to this world that we may have eternal life. I'm thankful that I do not have to work or earn my salvation, because the price has been paid on the cross. Continue to work in me, O Lord, and let me walk the path you have prepared for me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 Thank you Lord, for loving me so much, for being gentle and kind to me even though I don't deserve you. Thank you for letting me come to you just as I am, weak, helpless, and burdened. I ask that you give me rest, the kind of rest that only you can give to my soul, that I may rest in your loving arms, as I surrender my life to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Thank you Father God, for being so patient with us, for waiting for each of us to come and surrender our lives to you so that we will not perish, but have everlasting life. May the desire of my heart be like yours, O Lord, that no one will perish, that all should know you so they too will be in your glorious kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Search me, O God, and know my heart!    Try me and know my thoughts!  And see if there be any grievous way in me,    and  lead me in  the way everlasting.  Psalm 139:23-24 Search my heart and my thoughts, O God, cleanse me from all my sins and create in me a new and clean heart, one that longs after righteousness. Lead me the way I should go, Father, lead me to the path that leads to your everlasting side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,    nor the heart of man imagined,  what God has  prepared  for those who love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 Father God, thank you for the hope you have given us of eternal life, for the hope of a world that we can only imagine, one without pain, sorrow or sickness..Thank you for sending your son to pay the price for our sins, O Lord, thank you in advance for the day Jesus comes to take us home to be with you forever and be re-united with those we have lost. Help me walk in your love and do your will and when times are tough here on earth, help me remember that you have so much more in store for us in your kingdom  I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalo nians 5:15-18 Father in heaven, I thank you for reminding me to be thankful in all circumstances, though I may not understand, I know all things have a purpose and you are in control. Help me to rejoice, keep praying without ceasing and continually give you thanks. O Lord. May I do what is right in your eyes and be filled with your Spirit and strenght, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2 Almighty and merciful God, blessed be your Holy Name, we all have felt the pain of living in a fallen world, we have lost loved ones, have suffered diseases, have hurt deeply for many different reasons, but we are so thankful to know that we can dwell in your shelter and rest in your shadow. Keep reminding us that you are our refuge and our fortress, O Lord, that only you can give us the peace that surpasses all human understanding and that you are still in control of this world, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13 Thank you Jesus for giving me the strength to face each day, help me remember that I don't face the struggles of this life on my own, that I have you and that is all I need. May I continue to be filled with your everlasting love and may your mercy and grace continue to be poured upon me, I pray. Amen

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3 :12-144 Heavily Father, I thank you for your loving kindness and your compassion, I ask that you help me be more like you, to clothe myself with the same love you have for your people. To forgive as you do, to be kind, humble and gentle, O God, and to give up any resentments I have, to let go of the past and focus on you and to be thankful for the blessings I have today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 Thank you heavenly Lord, for being faithful and just to forgive my sins, I am a sinner and I know I fall short of your glory daily. I ask that your mercy and grace continues to be with me, O God, that you purify me from all unrighteousness and wash away my sins, in Jesus' my Savior's name I pray. Amen

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth their words to the ends of the world. Psalm 19:1-4 Creator of heaven and earth, I stand in awe daily of your marvelous works, the heavens proclaim the work of your hands and the beauty of your love. Father, continue to work in me, may I also be the work of your Holy hands and may my voice always proclaim what an amazing and awesome God I serve, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. Psalm 108: 4-6 Thank you for your amazing love, Father, your faithfulness is more than we can comprehend. May I bring you glory in all I do, and may you continue to watch over me every day of my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:8-12 Thank you Father God, for being so compassionate and gracious, for forgiving my sins and not treating me as I truly deserve to be treated. I am grateful for your amazing, everlasting and unconditional love. May I learn to be more like you, O Lord, may I be full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in love as you are, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Psalm 119:34-36 Father in heaven, give me understanding and the desire to obey your word with all of my heart, direct my path and fill me with your Spirit. May everything I do will be a reflection of my love for you, O God, and may I bring you glory and honor as I walk the path you have set before me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
