Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5 Loving Father in heaven, I am so thankful to have your promises, hope and encouragement because I know it is impossible to change what I need to change in my life on my own. I need you, O Lord, help me be a new creation in your Son, Jesus. Help me start the new year with your guidance, wisdom and strength. Help me remember that you alone know what your plans for me will be this year and only you can give me the strength and the wisdom I will need to meet any challenges. Help me put off my old way of life and shine for you this year, to be your hands and feet and be a blessing to others. May your merciful blessings and grace be upon me, my family and loved ones each and everyday as we put our faith and hope in you, I pray in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus. Amen

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5 Father God, you are faithful, full of great mercy, love and kindness, and I am thankful to be your child. Show me your ways, O God, guide me in the ways I should choose this coming year, teach me to be humble and do what is right in your eyes and not the eyes of the world. Help me keep my eyes focused on you and put all my hope and trust in you always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3 Thank you merciful Lord in heaven for your promises, your protection and for always watching over me. Keep reminding me that I should not live my life in fear, but trust completely in you, O God, regardless of what happens, let me keep my eyes on you and remember your promises so that I will be at peace knowing that you will always be my help, my refuge and strength, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:10-12 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; According to your great compassion blot out my transgressions and wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from all my sins. As we look forward to a new year, renew my spirit, create in me a pure and clean heart that longs for your righteousness and does your will always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For unto us a Child is born unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Isaiah 9:6-7 Mighty God in heaven, I know we will never be worthy of your love and the great sacrifice you did for us over 2000 years ago, but we are so very thankful that you sent your your Son, Jesus, our wonderful counselor, mighty Prince of peace into this world to be our Redeemer. May I proclaim the Good News with a grateful heart as I walk in the footsteps of my Savior Jesus and bring you honor and glory in all I say and do, I pray in His Holy and precious Name. Amen

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Luke 2 :10-12 Sovereign Lord, we can't ever thank you enough for the good news of the birth of our Savior, we thank you that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Fill us with knowledge, understanding, wisdom and grace, O God, help us treasure your word in our hearts and be obedient to your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” Luke 1:30-33 Merciful God, I want to find favor in your sight, I want to be obedient to your will and trust in you even when I don't' understand, just as Mary did. May I bring glory and honor to your name while I wait for your everlasting kingdom, O Lord, may your abundant blessings be upon me and my loved ones always, I pray in Jesus' name.Amen

But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’ Luke 2:6 Blessed Lord, ruler of all, I thank you for being my God and Savior, I thank you for coming to this world to deliver us and lead us to eternal life. Help me follow you and be obedient to your will, O Lord and help me seek you with all my heart, I pray. Amen

Isaiah 9:6 Merciful Father in heaven, I thank you for your gracious and loving son, Jesus, our wonderful counselor and prince of peace. I accept your gift of love, mercy, peace and eternal life. I ask that you fill me with your spirit and strength, O God, that you help me keep my eyes on you and your heavenly kingdom that I may become a new creation in Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen

​This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 1 John 4:13-14 Praise be to you, Lord, Maker of heaven and earth, thank you for your great mercy and unfailing love for all your children, thank you for sending us your Son to save us all. May we be filled with your Spirit and love that we may witness to others with our daily actions, O God, may you live in our hearts as we walk in obedience and have your blessings and prosperity, I pray in the precocious name of your Son, Jesus. Amen

​For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17 Father God, thank you so much for the greatest gift you could ever give us, your Son, Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Please remind me that nothing in this world could ever compare with this gift and the gift of eternal life. Help me walk in obedience and share the good news with everyone I know that they too may rejoice and be blessed, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4 Merciful Lord, let your grace and love shine in our hearts and give us the light of the knowledge of your glory. May we be a reflection of your shining light in this dark world, O God, may your light shine through when all seems dark in our lives that we may see your glory and be filled with hope, grace and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" which means “God with us” Matthew 1:20-22 Blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for sending us your Son to save us and give us hope. It is so amazing to know that you love us so much that you would send us a Savior to deliver us from our sins and show us the way to redemption. Help us remember that you are always with us, O God, and that celebrating the birth of our Savior is not just for Christmas, but each and every day, all year long, I pray in Jesus precious' name. Amen

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:9-10 Father God, you are an amazing and loving Father, I want to bear good fruit and please you in everything I say and do. Give me wisdom and understanding, O Lord, fill me with your Spirit that I may do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For everything in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives for ever. 1 John 2:16-17 Heavenly Father, keep reminding me that everything in this world will pass away, but your promises and love will last forever. Give me a humble heart, O God, help me do your will and not lust after the things of this world. May your desires be my desires, and may I not walk in the flesh, but in the spirit that I may have eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.1 Timothy 6:11-12 Help me fight the good fight of faith, O God, to stand strong in the mist of trouble and temptations and remain pure in your sight. Help me remember that you are always watching over me and my goal is an eternal life at your side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24 Father God in heaven, create in me a new heart and mind, help me put off my old self and deceitful desires of my heart. Take away any bitterness and anger and replace it with unconditional love and mercy. May I walk in true righteousness and holiness, O Lord, and may others see you and know you through me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.Psalm 143:8 Great are you Lord and most worthy of praise, I thank you for your unfailing and and amazing grace, I thank you for each and every blessing you have poured out on me. Teach me your ways, O God, show me the way I should go as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit . Romans 15:13 Father God, you are the God of hope and comfort, and you have promised never to leave or forsake us. As I put my hope in you, O Lord, I ask that you bring me comfort, joy and peace that I may overflow with hope regardless of my situation, even when I don't understand the reasons, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? Matthew 16:26 Blessed Lord in heaven, you are the Living God, full of compassion and mercy and your eternal reward is priceless. Teach me your ways, O God, help me remember that nothing this world has to offer will give me eternal life, help me follow you with all of my heart and soul and seek your heavenly treasures, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5:33 Almighty God, help me walk before you faithfully with integrity of heart and uprightness, with an obedient heart that is inclined to fear you and keep all your commands always. Bless me O God, help me prosper and prolong my days that I may glorify your name and honor you all the days of my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18 Merciful and forgiving father in heaven, I fall short of your glory daily, so I humbly come to you in repentance asking you to take my sins and wash them whiter than snow. May I feel your true grace in your mercy, O Lord, in your loving arms, may I be embraced by your amazing love and peace as I accept your forgiveness and gift of eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. Psalm 147:4-5 Praise be your name, Lord creator of the heavens and earth, you who numbered the starts and call each one by name. You know each one of us and love us with unconditional love, love that we could never understand, but we are glad to receive. May your mighty hand and power be upon us each and every day, O God, may your Spirit fill our hearts as we put all our trust and hope in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the harp.He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills. He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man; the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalm 147:7-11 Thank you, O Lord, creator of heaven and earth,you are my God and my King and I am thankful for your unfailing and unconditional love. Thank you for your loving kindness, your blessings, mercy and grace and most of all the gift of Salvation, through Jesus. Please continue to walk with me, strengthen me, bless me and keep me under your loving care, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 4:15 Thank you merciful Lord in heaven for your amazing grace and love, for the hope you have given us in your beloved Son, my Savior. May my heart overflow with thankfulness and love for you, O God, may I be renewed day by day that I may proclaim the Good News of your kingdom with my actions and not just words, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7 Thank you, Father God, for your promises, thank you for the peace that only you can give, peace this world could never understand. Help me remember, O Lord, not to be anxious about anything, but trust that you are already at work in my life, to rejoice and be thankful for all that I have, all that you have done for me and all that you will still do for me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig-tree, but also you can say to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Matthew 21:21-22 Merciful Lord in heaven, thank you for your promises, thank you for the hope you have given us and the privilege of prayer. Help me be a prayer warrior, O Lord,may I come boldly to your throne of grace and pray for my needs and the need of others, believing with all my heart that you will hear me and answer according to you will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Father God, you are an amazing and loving God and I am so thankful to be your child and I am thankful for your promises and mercy. Keep me away from all that would contaminate my body and spirit, O Lord, help me seek all that is pure and holy and follow the path that leads to your kingdom and eternal life at your precious side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise. You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. Psalm 51:15-17 Loving Father in heaven, you are always close to the brokenhearted, have mercy on me according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion, wash away all my sins and keep me humble in your sight, O Lord. May you fill my heart with your peace as I humbly surrender my heart and will to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,”so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. Hebrews 3:12-13 Almighty, merciful and living God, let me keep my eyes focused on you daily, strengthen me and fill with your Spirit that I may never turn away from you. Help me be an encourager to others, O Lord, remembering that each sunrise is a new opportunity and a new blessing, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

‘Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. Luke 6:37-38 Thank you Lord for your amazing love, for being our righteous and merciful judge and reminding me that we should not judge or condemn because you are the only one who is worthy of judging. Help me be loving and merciful, Oh God, and to love and forgive as you do, to follow the footsteps of your Son, my Savior, Jesus, I pray. Amen

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Hebrews 9:27-28 Jesus, thank you for bearing my sins, thank you for your sacrifice and your amazing love for us all. Thank you for the gift of salvation and for reminding me that you will come back again. May I proclaim your goodness and grace in everything I say or do, while I eagerly await your return, I pray. Amen

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will. Ephesians 1:11 Praise be to you, my God and Father of my Lord Jesus, who has blessed me in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ, and because you chose me before creation. May your plans for my life prevail, O Lord, and may you bless me and guide the path you have set before me according to your will, I pray in Jesus' name.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 Thank you Lord, for giving us your Word, to teach us your love, to guide us in the right path, to train us for your glory and to give us strength and hope. May I thirst for your Word daily, O God, and may I be obedient to your will as you fill me with your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives autumn and spring rains in season, who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest.” Jeremiah 5:24 Lord Almighty, you made the heavens and earth, and gave life to everything that lives, you are mighty and compassionate and always in control of everything. Thank you for meeting all our needs abundantly and for being our God, help us not to have stubborn and rebellious hearts, O Lord, but gentle, submissive and compassionate as yours, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:5-7 Merciful God, I need the wisdom that can only come from you, please remove any doubts and fears from me, O Lord, help me believe with all my heart that you will do as you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.Amen

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20 Gracious Father in heaven, you are full of righteousness and holiness, you are merciful and mighty and I thank you with all of my heart for every blessing you have poured out on me. I want to be filled with your Spirit and do your will, O Lord, Help me be humble and gentle, be content with what I have, to have a grateful and thankful heart and be completely yours, I pray in the name of your Son and my Lord Jesus. Amen

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Matthew 6:24 Father God, deliver us from loving this world and the things of this world, put in us the desire for your heavenly treasures, the desire to love others as we love you. Renew our hearts and fill us with your Spirit, O Lord, that we may demonstrate our love in the way we live, the way we speak and the way we treat others, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:13-14 Thank you, Father God, for your goodness, for carrying us through trials, for your promises that you will never leave or forsake us. Though we walk through dark valleys, let us remember that you are at our side. Strengthen us, O Lord, fill our hearts with courage as we faithfully wait for you to take care of things in your own perfect time, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4 Loving Father in heaven, thank you for reminding me that I am your child, that I need to be filled with tenderness and compassion  and be blameless and pure in  your eyes.  Keep me humble and help me be unselfish, open my eyes to see the needs of others, O God. Put the desire in me to help without expecting anything in return and to do everything to your glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25 Lord God, you are my rock and my strength, you are my fortress and I am thankful for your word and promises. Help me put your words into practice, O Lord, help me build a strong foundation in you and fill me with your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command.  May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.  2 Thessalonians 3: 3-5 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for your promises and protection against all evil, thank you for loving me and taking care of all my needs. Strengthen me and fill me with your Spirit, O Lord, that I may be obedient to your will, guide each step I take, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 ‘Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favour on your desolate sanctuary.  Give ear, our God, and hear. Daniel 9:17-18 My God, you are a great and awesome God, and I thank you for all your blessings, I thank you for giving us hope and abundant love. Lord, I do not make requests of you because I am righteous, but because of your great mercy. Forgive our sins, have mercy on us and hear the prayers and petitions of our hearts, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. Nehemiah 9:5-6 Blessed Lord in heaven, you are faithful, merciful and mighty, and I am thankful to know that everything is under your control and nothing formed against me shall stand when I surrender my life to you. Remind me to hold on to your promises and trust that you will always be by my side, O God, may your loving kindness and mercy be with me and may your Spirit fill my heart, with joy and peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 Father in heaven, thank you for hearing me when I call, thank you for opening the door and giving me the opportunity to enter your kingdom. Help me walk in obedience and do your will, O Lord, help me seek heavenly treasures and put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. 2 Thessalonians 2 :16-17 You are my greatest encourager, Father God, and I am so thankful to have you in my life and thankful for the hope you have given me in your Son, Jesus, my Savior.  Please continue to strengthen my heart, guide me and fill me with your amazing and everlasting love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.  1 John 5:19-20 Merciful and loving Father, giver of life, thank you for sending us your Son to bring us understanding and knowledge of the truth. Keep my eyes focused on you, O God, keep reminding me there is something greater waiting for me and though the evil one has control of this world, he doesn't have control over me because I am your child, I pray in your wonderful Son Jesus' name. Amen
