My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:1-3 Thank you Lord Jesus for coming to dwell among us, you, who created the world, died for the world, you are full of compassion, grace, truth and mercy and I am so thankful to be your child. Guide my steps, O Lord, help me walk the path you have set before me, the path that lead to eternal life at your side, I pray. Amen

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. James 4:7-8 Praise be to you, Mighty God, creator of the universe, who have great mercy and love for your people. Help me submit my whole heart to you and keep me humble, O Lord, give me the power and strength to resist the attacks of the enemy that he may flee far away from me. Bring me close to you, give me your everlasting peace and pour your Holy Spirit on me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 1 John 1:5-6  Loving Father in heaven, you are faithful and just, you will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness  Let your Word be a lamp unto my feet, O God, that I may not walk around in darkness, stumble and fall, but be filled with the light of your glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement through the shedding of his blood – to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25 Thank you for your amazing and unconditional love, Lord, thank you for sending your Son that we may be redeemed. I know I am a sinner and fall short of your glory daily and I need your grace and forgiveness, O God. Keep me by your loving side and help me remember the great sacrifice that was paid on the cross that I may have eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.  Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:17-18 Mighty God in heaven, give me wisdom to be peace-loving and merciful just as you are merciful. May I surrender my will to you and give you my whole heart, O God that I may do your will, sow peace and reap a harvest of righteousness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.  Ephesians 6:12-13 Help us remember that we can be victorious because the battle is not ours, the battle has been won by your Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Help us put on your full armor to fight against the attacks of the enemy, O Lord, to be ready for anything that comes our way through prayer and faithfulness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Micah 7:7 Mighty God, thank you for being our Father, our King, our strength and our hope.  Free us from the depths of distress, O Lord, from guilt, resentment, depression, and anxiety and help us walk in joy,  trusting in you always, knowing that you are fully in control of our lives and that you are working everything for your glory and our good no matter how things look today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: he will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. Psalm 37:5-7 Merciful Lord, you are in control of everything in our lives, you have the power to do anything you want and you are full of mercy and compassion. I ask you, O God, to help me commit my ways to you, to wait patiently for your will to be done in my life, to be still and trust in you with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Joshua 1:8 Thank you heavenly Father, for your words of encouragement, for your amazing promises and everlasting love. May I keep your your word deep within my heart and meditate on it day and night, O Lord, may I be obedient to your will as you strengthen me and fill me with your Spirit that I may receive your abundant blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. Romans 12:9-10 Most High God, you are my Redeemer and my rock, your love is unconditional and everlasting and I thank you for making me yours. I want to honor you and serve you in all I do, O Lord, may your love be manifested and demonstrated in my life and my actions today. May I love and honor others deeply and unconditionally so that in all things you may be glorified, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. Isaiah 33:5-6 Mighty Lord, you rule with justice and righteousness, and you are full of compassion and grace. Be gracious to us; we long for you, oh God, be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress, fill us with your wisdom and knowledge as we walk obediently in your ways and seek heavenly treasures, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Merciful God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of compassion and all comfort, I thank you for your grace and mercy, for sealing me with your Spirit and for your promises and hope of eternal life. Help me stand firm in faith, O Lord, help me remember that I belong to you and I should always walk by faith and be a living testimony of your amazing love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Trust in the Lord with all your heart  and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 Lord God, maker of heaven and earth, you reign for ever with wisdom, power and mercy and I praise your Holy Name. I ask that when I walk, you will guide me;  when I sleep, you will watch over me; when I awake, you will speak to me, O God. Help me submit to your will, trust in you with all of my heart and not lean on my own understanding, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Ephesians 6:17-18 Thank you  Lord God Almighty, for your powerful word, and for the amazing privilege you have given us in prayer, for your promises that you will hear us if we pray, if we came to you and surrender our will to you. Help me remember to pray and trust that you will hear me, O God, and give you full control over every situation that I may see your mighty power work in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Luke 4:11 I praise you Lord, for your angels, your heavenly hosts, for given them charge to guard over each and every one of us. Help us remember that you are always in control, O God, that no matter what is going on around us, you are still sitting on your throne of grace. May my faith grow as I see your blessing raining down on me each and everyday and put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4 Glorious Lord in heaven, though I face trials and storms in life, help me remember that testing produces perseverance. Keep me humble and obedient in all circumstances that I may receive the crown of life that you have promised to those who love you. Finish the work you have started in me, O God, and mold me into the person you meant for me to be, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.  Matthew 5:7-9 Lord my God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner, let your face shine on me and save me in your unfailing love. Help me be merciful, as you are merciful and to forgive as your have forgiven me. May the desire of my heart be to do your will, O Lord, to be a peacemaker and walk in righteousness before you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God –  not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Father in heaven, you are rich in mercy and grace, I thank you for your loving kindness and the gift of salvation. I'm thankful to have been saved by your amazing grace through faith and not because anything I did or will do. Keep reminding me to be obedient to your will, O God, and walk in the footsteps of my Savior, Jesus, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 Father God, thank you for reminding me that you are with us every day, thank you for the incredible peace that only you can give, O Lord, peace that this world could never understand. Keep reminding me Lord, that my heart should not be troubled and that I should not be afraid because you are always in control, even when we cannot see, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 Thank you Lord, for loving me, for being gentle and kind even though I don't deserve you. Thank you for allowing me to come to you just as I am; weak, helpless, and burdened. I ask that you give me rest, O God, the kind of rest that only you can give my soul, that I may have rest in your loving arms, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands. Psalm 112:1 Lord God Almighty, you are gracious and righteous; full of compassion and love, you protect the unwary, calm our fears and give rest to our souls. I delight in you and your commands, O Lord, may your word guide my path and your Spirit fill my heart as I put all my trust and faith in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
