will give you rest

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Thank you Lord, for loving me, for being gentle and kind even though I don't deserve you. Thank you for allowing me to come to you just as I am; weak, helpless, and burdened. I ask that you give me rest, O God, the kind of rest that only you can give my soul, that I may have rest in your loving arms, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you  and  protect  you from the evil one.  We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing  and will continue to do the things we command.  May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love  and Christ’s perseverance. 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 Faithful and blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for your promises, your protection and your amazing love. Strengthen me and  protect  me, direct my heart and keep reminding me that everything is in your control  and nothing happens in our lives without your knowledge.Teach me to trust in you, to bring everything to you in prayer with confidence that you will take care of it all, I pray in Jesus' name.Amen
