But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command.  May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.  2 Thessalonians 3: 3-5 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for your promises and protection against all evil, thank you for loving me and taking care of all my needs. Strengthen me and fill me with your Spirit, O Lord, that I may be obedient to your will, guide each step I take, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 ‘Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favour on your desolate sanctuary.  Give ear, our God, and hear. Daniel 9:17-18 My God, you are a great and awesome God, and I thank you for all your blessings, I thank you for giving us hope and abundant love. Lord, I do not make requests of you because I am righteous, but because of your great mercy. Forgive our sins, have mercy on us and hear the prayers and petitions of our hearts, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. Nehemiah 9:5-6 Blessed Lord in heaven, you are faithful, merciful and mighty, and I am thankful to know that everything is under your control and nothing formed against me shall stand when I surrender my life to you. Remind me to hold on to your promises and trust that you will always be by my side, O God, may your loving kindness and mercy be with me and may your Spirit fill my heart, with joy and peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 Father in heaven, thank you for hearing me when I call, thank you for opening the door and giving me the opportunity to enter your kingdom. Help me walk in obedience and do your will, O Lord, help me seek heavenly treasures and put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. 2 Thessalonians 2 :16-17 You are my greatest encourager, Father God, and I am so thankful to have you in my life and thankful for the hope you have given me in your Son, Jesus, my Savior.  Please continue to strengthen my heart, guide me and fill me with your amazing and everlasting love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.  1 John 5:19-20 Merciful and loving Father, giver of life, thank you for sending us your Son to bring us understanding and knowledge of the truth. Keep my eyes focused on you, O God, keep reminding me there is something greater waiting for me and though the evil one has control of this world, he doesn't have control over me because I am your child, I pray in your wonderful Son Jesus' name. Amen

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:13-15 Father in heaven, I am so thankful that I can be at peace knowing that you are in control of everything and that you have a great plan and purpose for my life. Keep reminding me of this each and every day, Father, and thank you for hearing my prayers and answering them according to your will, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  1 Corinthians 13:6 Father God, thank you for your unfailing love, help me remember that life is too short to live with anger, hatred and bitterness. Don't let me delight in evil, keep record of wrongs, or live in the past, O Lord. May the desire of my heart be to seek you, to help others and love like Jesus that I may witness your amazing love at work in my life and rejoice with the truth, I pray in His precious name. Amen

The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Isaiah 40:28-29 Blessed be your name Father God, Creator of the end of the earth, thank you for the strength you have given me and your amazing love. Keep me under your loving arms, O Lord and renew my strength as I humbly walk in the footsteps of my Savior, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The LORD is gracious and compassionate,slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.  Psalm 145:8-9 Mighty and loving Father in heaven, your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. I thank you for being compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love, O God, I ask that you change my heart and help me be the person you meant for me to be. May my actions speak louder than my words, may I be compassionate and loving to others as you are to me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-9 Creator of all, to you be the glory and the power for ever and ever, I humbly ask that you help me walk in your ways and be more like you. Help me to be your humble, loving servant, forgiving an compassionate with a gentle and kind spirit.  May your eyes be upon me, O God, and may your ears be attentive to my prayers as I do your will, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God.   Isaiah 43:2-3 Loving Father in heaven, blessed be your holy Name, thank you for your amazing promises, thank you for calling me by name, O Lord. I have peace in my heart knowing that you are with me where ever I go. Please help me remember that no matter what I am going thru, your loving kindness and tender mercies will never leave me, I pray in in Jesus' name.Amen

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,  Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  Psalm 103: 1-5 Blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for your lovingkindness and tender mercies, thank you for renewing my strength and for your loving promises that give me hope. Bless my life, O God, forgive all my iniquities and heal all my diseases according to the riches of your grace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down;  you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.  Psalm 139:1-4 Sovereign Lord, you are my God and my creator, you know what I am going to say before I say it. Set a guard over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my lips and search my heart, O God, may my eyes be fixed on you and your heavenly kingdom as you lead me in the way everlasting, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. "Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. Philippians 2:14-15 Heavenly Father, I want to be blameless and pure in your sight, I want to do things without grumbling or arguing. Help me shine for you, O Lord, and hold firmly to your Word as I do everything for your glory and your honor, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 Father God, don't let me conform to the pattern of this world, but fill me with your Spirit, transform and renew my mind. Fill me with your joy and peace, O Lord, and help me be more like you as I put my life and trust into your blessed hands, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever. Psalm 73:25-26 Sovereign Lord in heaven, you are my God, my King, my refuge and strength, and my portion for ever. I want to give you honor and praise for all the blessings you have poured down on me, O Lord. May the desire of my heart be to be near you, to please you and seek your heavenly treasures, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;  though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 Thank you merciful, Almighty God, for your promises and amazing love, I delight in your decrees and your word. Make my steps firm, direct my path, O Lord, and should I stumble on the way, may your loving hand be at my reach as I put all my hope and trust in your unfailing love, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; w e are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.  Psalm 100:3-5 I praise you, O Lord, creator of all, giver of life, I thank you for your amazing love for me, a sinner, for your faithfulness and mercy. May your enduring love continue to bless me and watch over me, may I always worship you with gladness and be joyful and thankful for all you have given me, may I bring you glory and honor in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 Merciful and loving God in heaven, thank you for abiding in me, thank you for your loving care and patience. Forgive all my sins, cleanse me and fill me with your Spirit, O Lord, that I may abide in you and bear much fruit for you and your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Luke 6:45 Merciful and forgiving Lord in heaven, I thank you for being so patient with me, I thank you for saving a sinner like me, and loving me unconditionally. Father, fill my heart and mind full of your Spirit and love, let me use my lips to edify and not tear down. May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
