Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:22-23 Cleanse me from all my sins, O God, wash them away and make me pure in your sight. Help me draw near to you with a sincere heart, Lord, help me hold on to the hope you have given us and be faithful to you no matter what I face each day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 Merciful Lord, I will never understand your unconditional love, I will never understand how much I mean to you, but I am truly thankful for your love and blessings, thankful to know that nothing I ever do will separate me from your love. Help me walk in your ways, O God, and be obedient to your will that the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 Thank you merciful and loving Father in heaven for your amazing promises and everlasting love. Thank you for reminding me today that your word will never return void, O God, that all I have to do is share your word and your Spirit will do what you intended your word to do and will never fail. May my lips worship you daily as I walk faithfully in obedience and in truth according to your holy word, I pray in Jesus' name. Ame

The Lord is  my  strength and  my  shield;  my  heart trusts in him, and he helps me.   My  heart leaps for joy,  and with  my  song I praise him.  The Lord is the strength of his people,  a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.  Psalm 28:7-8 Merciful Father, Thank you for being  my  strength and  my  shield, thank you for the promises and comfort you give me through your Word.  Give me hunger for your word, O God, that I may read it faithfully and meditate on it all day.  Fill me with your Spirit and continue to strengthen me as I face any challenge that comes  my  way and trust you with all my heart, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

​The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. Psalm 34:7-9 Father God, I need you every minute of the day, I take refuge in you and comfort in your holy Word. Send your angels to watch over me each day, O Lord, to watch over my loved ones and deliver us from all that would harm us or take us away from you. Give us your joy, your peace and help us not fear evil because you are with us, and you will take care of all our needs my God, my strength and my Lord of peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​ All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for  teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,  so that the servant of God may be  thoroughly equipped for every good work.  2 Timothy 3:16-17 Father God, I am so thankful to have the privilege of being able to read your Word, please remind me not to take it for granted.  I'm thankful for my relationship with you and for being able to spend time with you through your Word, though prayer and worship.  May I feel your presence,  blessings and love  as I get closer to you, O Lord, teach me our ways,  equip me for every good work and make my heart your home, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

​​I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 Lord God, maker of heaven and earth, I thank you for being my help, my sun, my shade, my shield, my protection, you neither slumber nor sleep, but watch over me day and night. I am so thankful that I can call on you in my distress, and you answer me and save me. May I always seek you with all my heart, O God, may I walk in obedience and praise you with an upright and grateful heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3 :16 Sovereign Lord, whether in the darkest of moments or in our greatest of victories, to you be the glory, O Lord, we know that you are in control of everything. Lead and guide us each day, and give us your loving peace at all times and in every way, no matter our circumstances, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. Psalm 145:17-19 Righteous Father in heaven, you are gracious and full of compassion and I thank you for your love and mercy. Be near me when I call, O God, may the desires of my heart be to please you and honor you in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Matthew 10:2-31 Loving Father in heaven, you created us and care for each of us so deeply, with extraordinary and unfailing love. I thank you for encouraging us with your Word, truth and promises, you know the number of hairs on our head, you know each of our situations, our struggles, fears and challenges. Keep reminding me that I am valuable to you, O God, and that you care about everything that happens in my life. Be with me, walk by my side and hold me close to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. Psalm 33:4-5 Father God, you are faithful and loving, righteous and tenderhearted and I praise you and give you thanks for your unfailing love. Live in my heart, O Lord, give me hunger for your word and the desire to share it with others that they too will partake of your amazing love and blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. Proverbs 27:19 Merciful Lord, I want to be a reflection of your love and mercy, change my heart and give me a forgiving heart, full of love and compassion, a heart that does not harbor resentment, a humble heart that does not seek it's own way. Help me get rid of any unrighteousness in my heart, O God, get rid of any bitterness, negativity and strife and replace it with your Spirit, full of kindness, humility and patience that I may reflect your beauty in every area of my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, he purposes of his heart through all generations. Psalm 33:11 Heavenly Lord, your word is right and true; you are faithful in all you do, you love righteousness and justice; May you bless all those whose hope is in your unfailing love, those who rejoice and trust in your Holy Name, O God. Be with us as we put our hope and trust in you and may your plans for our lives stand firm forever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19 Lord Almighty, you are the true and living God, the eternal King, full of compassion and mercy and I am thankful to be your child. Help me not to dwell on the past, but to focus on the wonderful and amazing blessings you have given me today and all the new blessing to come. Help me see the needs of others and not just my own, O God, that I may become the person you created me to be, I pray in the name of Jesus, our Righteous Savior. Amen

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 Thank you Lord for reminding me that no matter what we have in this world we will not take anything with us when we are called to your presence. Give me the desire to look for your heavenly riches, O God, to be content with what you have blessed me with and not to fall into temptation with harmful desires and wander from the faith, I pray in Jesus' name.

For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. Psalm 108:4-5 Blessed Father in heaven, maker of heaven and earth, glorious and majestic are your deeds, your righteousness endures for ever and your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Thank you for all of your love and blessings, thank you for mercy and grace. May your glory be over all the earth, O God, bless us as we walk in obedience and put our trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name.

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. Isaiah 44:3 Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, and blesses our dry land with water from heaven. Thank you for the much needed rain, for your righteousness and compassion. Pour out your Spirit and your blessings on me and all my loved ones, O Lord and lead me to your side, I pray in Jesus name. Amen.​

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. Ecclesiastes 3:11-12 My God and my King, I thank you for making everything beautiful in your perfect time, for your amazing and unfailing love, for your faithfulness and loving kindness. Help me seek you earnestly with all of my heart, O Lord, to do good while I live and thirst for righteousness that I may rejoice in the hope of the eternal life you have promised us, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:3-4 Mighty and loving Creator, you are the living God and I want to delight in your word and your ways. As I begin a new year, I ask for discernment and strength to make wise decisions in everything I do. May your Holy Spirit align my heart's desires with your will, O God, may I commit my ways to you that I may dwell in your presence and enjoy your bountiful blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11-12 Merciful and loving Father in heaven, help me seek you with all my heart, help me surrender my life before you and guide me every step of the way. Hear my prayers when I call, but may your plans for my life prevail, O God, for I know your plans are better than I could ever imagine, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2 Thank you Father God, for another day of life, for a new year and new opportunities to serve you. Help me crave pure spiritual milk, O Lord, that I may grow in faith, in wisdom and in love for you and your Word. May everything I say and do reflect the love I have for you, may I bring you honor and glory to your Holy Name, I pray in Jesus, my Lord and Savior's name, I pray. Amen.
