​I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy. I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble. When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. Psalm 142:1-3 Sovereign Lord, thank you for always being there for me, thank you for hearing my voice and being merciful to me. Help me keep my eyes fixed on you, O Lord, to take refuge in you as you watch over my way. Keep me safe, my strong deliverer, and when my spirit grows faint, strengthen me with your Spirit and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. James 3:5 Lord and Father in heaven, thank you for being my God, my hope and my fortress. Help me be peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, O Lord, may no corrupt words come out of my lips, guard them that they may only be to praise you, give you honor and build up, not tear down, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Matthew 7:1-2 Merciful and loving Lord in heaven, I thank you for not treating me as I deserve to be treated and for not giving up on me. I thank you for being a just and loving God who forgives all our sins and loves us with unconditional love. I humbly come to you today asking you to help me be more like you, help me not to judge or criticize others and remind me that you are the only one in position to correctly judge anyone, O God. Help me obey and carry out your will, to love unconditionally as you do and to be a mirror of your love and grace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:10-12 Loving Father, I thank you for being so patient with me, I ask that you help me seek peace and pursue it. Help me love deeply, be compassionate, humble and obedient that I may inherit your blessings that can never perish, spoil or fade. Guard my lips, O Lord, and take away anything that may hinder my prayers so that you never turn your eyes away from me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly,To love mercy,And to walk humbly with your God?Micah 6:8 Merciful and gracious God in heaven, I turn to you with all of my heart and offer my life to you, I ask that you help me be just, to love mercy and walk humbly with you as you have asked me to do. May I show mercy to others in humility and gentleness, O God, may I be a reflection of your love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Proverbs 24:3-4 Lord Almighty, you who created the heavens and the earth, be the architect of my spiritual home, build within me a heart of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Bless me and fill me with your Spirit, O God, establish your kingdom in my heart and remind me to search for your beautiful and heavenly treasures first. Be Lord of my household and fill it with your blessings, wisdom and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. Isaiah 44:3 Thank you merciful God and righteous Savior for your promises, for your unconditional and unwavering love. I ask that you pour out your Spirit and blessings upon me and my loved ones, O Lord, strengthen us and guide our path, lead us to your side and keep us in your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me. Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love. Let me not be put to shame, Lord, for I have cried out to you. Psalm 31:15-17 Father in heaven, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you for reminding me that my life is in your hands and nothing happens in my life unless you allow it. Even if I don't understand your purpose, my God, help me trust in you, shine your light on me and strengthen me. Save me in your unfailing love and may everything in my life work out according your purpose and glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself. Psalm 89:2 Faithfulness surrounds you, the heavens praise your wonders, my Lord and my God. You are my glory and strength, you satisfy my heart with your unfailing love and no matter how long we have gone away, you always receive us back with abundant mercy and grace. May I boldly declare that your love stands firm forever, O God, may your faithfulness and blessings fall upon all those who love you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119: 103-105 God, our Father, thank you for your Word and promises, thank you for making me your child. Please continue to guide my feet, and light my path, O Lord, open my eyes to the wonders of your Love that I may serve you with a willing heart, live in me, help me be more like you and may your will be done in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. ​​The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2 Lord, you are my God, my strength, my defense and salvation and I will praise you, I will exalt you and give you thanks for you are good and you are merciful, your love endures forever. Help me seek you with all my heart and walk an obedient life, O Lord, bless me, be my strength and my defense and do not let me stray away from you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:10-12 Father God, help me live a life worthy of you, to please you in all I do and bear fruit for your kingdom, thank you for bringing me out of darkness and forgiving my sins. Please strengthen me according to your glorious might, O Lord, help me be a light to this dark world, to be joyful and thankful for all you have given me, cherishing every minute I am alive and making the most of each day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:17-19 Righteous and loving Father in Heaven, blessed be your name in all of the earth.Thank you for your promises, thank you for taking care of me always and fulfilling the desires of my heart. Please continue to be with me, O God, hear me when I call and fill me with your peace that surpasses all understanging, I pray in Jesus name.Amen

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior. 2 Samuel 22:2-3 Mighty God in heaven, my Rock, my Savior, you shield all who take refuge in you, you show unfailing kindness to your children, you keep us safe and guide our paths, thank you Lord, for being my God. Be my stronghold and my refuge, O God, help me remember that you are in control of every situation and you are mightier than any problem I may face, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Have mercy upon me, O God,According to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2 Father God, have mercy on me, I am a sinner, I confess all my sins to you and bring them to your throne of mercy and grace. I ask that you wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, O Lord, uphold me by your generous and loving Spirit, guide and teach me your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name. I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand . Isaiah 51:15-16 Lord Almighty, you are my comforter, my strength, and my hope and I thank y ou for your compassion and love. Cover me with your mighty and loving hand, O God, put your words in my mouth and heart, teach me your will and fill me with your joy and peace as I put my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. Psalm 91:14-15 Blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for your promises, your unfailing and unconditional love and for your protection. Please continue to bless me, O God, bless my family and my loved ones everyday. Protect and keep us from harm, keep us under your loving care as we trust in you and learn to be patient waiting for your perfect timing, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:12-13 Dear Jesus, I may not always have what I want, but I am so thankful that I always have you and your amazing love. I have so much to be thankful for each day I get to wake up and praise your name. You are my strength and my courage, O Lord, I thank you for being the author and finisher of my faith. I thank you for all the blessings in my life and ask that you continue to be with me, strengthen my faith and keep reminding me that I can do all things with you at my side, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

Submit to God and be at peace with him in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart. Job 22:21-22 Lord, give me a tender and loving heart, one that will submit completely to you that I may enjoy peace and property with you in my life. Give me an obedient spirit and attitude, O God, and may your loving and precious words be forever in my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:5 Blessed Father in heaven, thank you for your protection and your amazing love, thank you for being the stronghold of my life. I ask that you continue to bless, O God, to keep me safe in your loving arms and let me feel your presence in my life as I keep trusting in you regardless of the world around me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:13-16 Father God, thank you for the privilege you have given us in prayer, thank you for your promises of hearing our prayers and answering them according to your will. Help me remember that just because I don't get the results I want, does not mean you did not hear my prayer, O Lord. Help me remember that you are in control and know what is best for me, even when I don't understand, I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen

Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. Psalm 36:5-6 Blessed Lord in heaven, you are my King and my God and I thank you for your unfailing love, I thank you because your justice and love are deeper than the ocean. Continue to walk with me daily, O God, bless me, guard my lips and hear my prayers as I walk faithfully in your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 Loving Father, thank you for your unconditional love, thank you because you never fail to help those whom you have set upon the sure foundation of your loving-kindness; through Jesus my Lord. Let your Holy Spirit fill my heart that I may be a bright light shining in this dark world for you, O God, that everything I do will be to glorify and honor you, may your precious light shine on me daily, I pray in Jesus' name.
