My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

​​ Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. Proverbs 8:34-35 Merciful Lord, it is easy to get caught up in the things of this world, so I humbly ask you to help me keep my eyes on you, give me hunger for your word and fill me with your Spirit. May I be watching at your doorway and find your favor, O Lord, may I be an obedient and humble servant ready to do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:10-12 Gracious Lord, I humbly come to you today asking you to cleanse me from all unrighteousness, asking you to create in me a pure heart, one that longs to do your will, one that loves unconditionally and forgives all wrongs. Give me a willing spirit, O God, give me hunger for righteousness and for your Word and always keep me at your loving side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Proverbs 2:6-8 Father God, I know that everything is in your loving hands, but you have given us free will to choose and it is up to me to make the right choices, to walk blameless before you and surrender my life to you. I give you control to guide the course of my life O Lord, guard me, be my shield and protect me from anything that would steer me away from you. Give me your heavenly wisdom, knowledge and understanding as I faithful follow you and do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Matthew 23:11-12 Gracious and loving Father, I confess my sins to you and ask you for forgiveness Lord, I ask that you put away any pride that may be in my heart. Help me stay humble and obedient to your will, O God, that your grace and mercy will continue to be with me every day I walk the path you have set before me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:3-4 Father God, thank you for choosing me before the foundation of this world, thank you for the spiritual and extraordinary blessings you have given me in your Son, Jesus.Keep reminding me who I am, O Lord, a child of the one true King and covered in your love. May your holiness surround me, may I be a shining witness of your amazing love and grace and may I walk holy and blameless in your sight, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done Psalm 105:1-5 My heart rejoices daily and I praise your glorious name, Father God, I thank you for the wonderful things you have done in my life, and the blessings I have received. You are my strength and my rock, O Lord, and I ask that you will bless me as I seek you through your Word and prayer, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 Merciful and loving Lord, thank you for being my light and my salvation, thank you for reminding me that I should not fear because you are always with me. Be my stronghold each and every day, hold me close to you, O God, never let me go and fill me with your peace, your love and your strength. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. Psalms 139:1-4 Father in heaven, you know everything about me, nothing is a surprise to you, O Lord, thank you for reminding me of that. Fill me with wisdom and understanding, cleanse my heart and mind and help me get rid of anything that hinders my prayers. Please help me walk in your ways, guard my lips and let me follow you all the days of my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14 Heavily Father, I thank you for your loving kindness and your compassion, I ask that you help me be more like you, to clothe myself with the same love you have for your people. To forgive as you do, to be kind, humble and gentle, O God, and to give up any resentments I have, to let go of the past and focus on you and be thankful for all the blessings I have today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’Matthew 25:34-36 Thank you for the amazing love Jesus came to demostrate, Father God, for the great example he left for us to follow. Help me be an obedient and loving servant, O Lord, open my eyes to the needs around me that I may be your hands and feet and help those in need with a cheerful heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Mark 4:40-41 Lord Jesus, thank you for showing me your amazing love, protection and strength. Help me put all my trust in you and keep remembering that there is power in your wonderful Name, O Lord, because all things were created by your mighty and loving hands, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away. Isaiah 50:4-5 Sovereign Lord, open my ears each morning and let me hear your instructions, let me follow you with all of my heart. Help me meditate in your Word, O God, and be filled with your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 Merciful Lord in heaven, I thank you for your promises, for the hope you have given us in Jesus. Remind us daily that we belong to you, that no matter what we go through, you are in control and we should not live in fear of the unknown, but trust in your power and strength. Remind us, O God, that you are greater than any problem we face and we already stand in victory because we belong to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:6-7 Praise be to you, Lord God of haven and Earth, Creator of the universe, thank you for being my strength and my shield, for being my fortress of salvation and my Rock. May your mercy and grace continue to be with me, O Lord my God, may my heart continue to leap for joy,as I give you praise, honor and glory forever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’John 3-5:7 Thank you Lord, for the gift of Salvation, for allowing me to know you and to be born of water and spirit though baptism that I may see your kingdom. May your Spirit lead me and guide my every step, O God, and may my actions reflect my love, commitment and obedience to you as I bring honor to your name, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32 Merciful and forgiving Lord in heaven, thank you for forgiving all my sins, thank you for not giving up on me even though I keep falling short of your glory. My spirit is willing to do your will, but my flesh is weak, I ask that you continue to work in my heart, that you continue to mold me and change me, O God, give me a tender and forgiving heart. Help me put away all bitterness, malice, unkindness and anger away so that I may be able to worship and honor you with a pure heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​ Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 Blessed Lord, I thank you for the hope you have given me in Jesus, your Son, I thank you for your love and promises, and most of all the gift of salvation. I bring all my fears, disappointments, burdens and worries to your throne of grace, O God, help me keep my eyes focused on Jesus. Help me walk faithfully, be my rock and my strength and give me your heavenly peace as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd. You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. Psalm 18:25-28 Thank you Lord, for your faithfulness, for your protection and grace, for being my light in the midst of darkness. Though I may walk in the midst of trouble, preserve my life; stretch out your hand and save me, O God, be my guiding light that my steps may stay in your paths and my feet will not stumble, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 Lord God, maker of heaven and Earth, you make everything beautiful in your time, and your timing is always perfect. We could never fathom what you have done for us, but I thank you for placing eternity in my heart, for the hope of a life without pain, tears or sadness. Help me appreciate every day you have given me on this earth as gift, O Lord, to trust that you will make everything beautiful in your perfect time, and all will work out according to your purpose, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8 Gracious Father in heaven, I humbly ask that you cleanse my heart and mind, remove any thoughts that are not in alignment with your will. Help me to examine my thoughts in light of your Word at all times. O God, purify my mind and my heart so that evil will not find a dwelling within. Overflow them with your love, peace, joy, gentleness, kindness, and mercy and let me focus on everything that is praiseworthy, pure and lovely, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
