My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2 Heavenly Father, I praise you for your goodness, for your abundant blessings and grace. I thank you for teaching me that you oppose the proud, but give grace to the humble. Grant me the virtue of true humility and wisdom, O God, keep me strong in faith, but humble in spirit. May you be glorified today in all I say and do and may you continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. John 10:27-30 Thank you Jesus for your great sacrifice on the cross, for the gift of salvation and the hope of eternal life, for your amazing promises and protection. May I continue to hear your voice and follow you in faith, with an unwavering desire to do what is right in your sight, strengthen me and keep working in me that no one may take me away from you, O Lord, I pray. Amen

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. James 3:13 Merciful Lord, I thank you for your mercy and grace and humbly come to your throne of grace to ask for heavenly wisdom, wisdom that can only come from you. Help me be a doer of your word, O God, help me be humble and kind, and my actions reflect my love and obedience to your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. Psalm 130:3-4 Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace and mercy, thank you for not keeping a record of my sins. Thank you for giving us your Son, that we may know you through Him and for the hope of eternal life. I know that nothing is beyond your mercy and forgiveness and I humbly ask that you forgive every sin I have committed, cleanse me, come and live in my heart, O Lord, take control of my life and let me serve you with reverence and honor, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:17-19 Great are you Lord and most worthy of praise; your greatness no one can fathom, you are full of compassion and love for us and hear our prayers when we call out to you. Please continue to be near me, O God, let me feel your presence, your comfort and your love. Remind me that you are always in control of everything and all I need to do is trust you because you love us with everlasting love and you are faithful in all you do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21 Merciful Father in heaven, thank you for loving me as I am, with all of my sins, failures, and weaknesses. Help me to live in harmony with everyone, to build them up and not tear them down, to comfort and love them so that I may experience the abundant richness and fullness of your amazing love. Help me have a sweet and gentle spirit, O Lord, to love others with the same eternal love you have for me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16 Gracious and loving Father in heaven, you are faithful, just and loving and I thank you for loving us unconditionally and being patient with us. I come boldly to your throne of grace today, O Lord, to ask for your blessings, for your forgiveness, mercy and grace. I ask that you will fill me with your peace, strengthen my spirit and walk with me through the difficult times in my life, may I feel your loving arms around me as I lay all my burdens at your feet, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:34-35 Gracious Lord, I thank you for your loving Son who paid my debt in full on Calvary though I do not deserve it, thank you for loving me with your eternal love. Help me live an obedient life and be your disciple, O Lord, help me follow Jesus' example and love as He loves, and be more like Him each day. Help me submit fully to your will, rather than the inclinations of my own heart and bring honor and glory to your name in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:10-11 Merciful and loving Father, your peace and strength are eternal, you are enthroned as King over everything, and I am thankful to be able to come to your throne of grace. When my spirit gets overwhelmed with the floods of this world, fill me with your peace and strength, O God, draw me from the depths and into your glorious arms and keep reminding me not to live in fear, but live in peace knowing that you sit on the throne, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Romans 12:9-10 Precious Lord in heaven, fill my heart with your Spirit and love that I may shine with the light of your love and honor you in all that I say and do. May I cling to what is good and righteous in your eyes, O Lord, may the signs of my love for you be visible to the world by the way in which I live and love, I pray n Jesus' name. Amen

​Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Father, there is no greater LOVE than your Love, you love us with your eternal Love, you knew us before we were even born. You will never leave or forsake us, you give us the desires of our hearts, you are our provider and will meet all our needs. You are our greatest encourager and the one who comforts us in all our troubles, O God, you are close to the brokenhearted and one day you will wipe away all our tears.Thank you for your everlasting love, please protect us and continue to keep us under your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 Lord, I will never be able to fully understand the amazing sacrifice on the cross, but I do cherish and appreciate it, I know that I will never be worthy of your love, but I am grateful to have it. Bless me, O God, strengthen me and keep reminding me of your amazing love daily. May my ways be blameless before man and before you, may my ways and thoughts be pure, not only obeying your will, but believing and trusting you always, I pray in Jesus' my Lord and your precious Son's name. Amen

​As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. John 15:9-10 Father, thank you for your promises that you will love us unconditionally and won’t ever leave or forsake us. Help me grow in my understanding of your eternal and unconditional love for me, a sinner. Live in my heart and make it pure, gentle and loving, O Lord, help me abide in your love and delight in your commandments, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Precious Lord in heaven, teach me to love as you love, to be patient, be giving and forgiving; give me a heart like yours, a heart to love without reservations. Help me to be gentle, kind and loving, O God, to rejoice in truth and bear all things with gladness and hope as you do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.1 John 4:12 Mighty God, Creator of heaven and earth, thank you for your everlasting love, thank you for loving me as I am and waiting patiently for me, a sinner. Live in me, O Lord, help me surrender to you and abide in your love that others may see you in me and I may be made complete in your perfect love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6 Father in heaven, I thank you for the privilege of prayer, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to know you and love you. Help me walk by faith daily and seek you earnestly with all my heart, O Lord. Strengthen my faith, bless me, walk beside me and guard my steps, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 Thank you heavenly Lord, for being faithful and just to forgive my sins, I am a sinner and I know I fall short of your glory daily. May your mercy and grace continues to be with me, O God, purify me from all unrighteousness and wash away my sins, I pray in Jesus' my Savior's name. Amen

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my Savior. 2 Samuel 22:2-3 Exalted be my God, my Rock, my Savior, you shield all who take refuge in you, you show unfailing kindness to your children, you keep us safe and guide our paths, thank you Lord, for being my God. Be my stronghold and my refuge, O God, wrap your loving arms around me and remind me that you are mightier than any problem I may face, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Psalm 95:6-7 Loving Father, I come before you today to bow down and worship you because you are my God, my maker, because you loved me before I was even born. Keep reminding me that I need to fight all battles on my knees, O God, to bring everything to you, and to remember that nothing is too small or to great for you to handle because you are the creator of the universe, our powerful and loving God, but most of all, my God and Father, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
