God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant.

‘Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, our God, and hear. Daniel 9:17-18 My God, you are a great and awesome God, and I thank you for all your blessings, I thank you for giving us hope and your abundant and unconditional love. Lord, I do not make requests of you because I am righteous, but because I know you are merciful. Forgive our sins, have mercy on us and hear the prayers and petitions of our hearts and answer them according to your loving will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

No one’s heart has imagined all the things that God has prepared for those who love him

​No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no one’s heart has imagined all the things that God has prepared for those who love him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 Father God, it is wonderful to imagine what your kingdom will be like, but as your word tells us, we cannot begin to imagine how amazing and beautiful it will be. Thank you for giving us the hope of a better future, one without pain and suffering, without death and disease, the hope of being at your eternal side and seeing our loved ones again. Help me be obedient to your will, O God, and keep walking in the straight and narrow path that leads to your eternal kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it

May I be reminded daily of your great love and sacrifice on the cross, O Lord, and that you are now sitting at our Father's right side and we may ask for His blessings in your Name. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:6-9 Father God, give me hunger for your precious Word and thirst for your righteousness, fill me with your blessed Spirit and purify my heart. May I be peacemaker, loving and merciful, O Lord, may I walk in the footsteps of my Savior, that I may be worthy of being called your child, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord blesses his people with peace

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:10-11 Merciful and loving Father, your peace and strength are eternal, you are enthroned as King over everything, and I am thankful to be able to come to your throne of grace. When my spirit gets overwhelmed, fill me with your peace and strength, O God, bring me into your glorious arms and hold me tight, keep reminding me not to live in fear, but live in peace knowing that you are still on the throne, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The word of the Lord endures forever

​All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but ​the word of the Lord endures forever.1 Peter 1:24-25 Thank you merciful Lord for loving me so much and teaching me your ways, teaching me that looks and our earthly treasures are not important, but our heart, our attitude and our relationship with you really matter. Keep reminding me this world is temporary, O God, and everything in it will end, but your living word and promises will endure forever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I have hidden your word in my heart

​I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:10-11 Lord God, as I search your word daily, I ask that I may be led by your Holy Spirit, give me wisdom and understanding that I may live according to your word. I know you have a plan for my life, O Lord, I ask that you give me the strength to go where you want me to go and do what you want me to do and do not let me stray away from you or your commands, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be still, and know that I am God

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46:10-11 Gracious and Holy Father in heaven, we get so busy and worried about the things of this world that we forget to take a step back and just be still, we forget to meditate on your Word and promises and be filled with your peace. Help me be still, Lord Almighty, be my refuge and strength, my fortress in times of trouble. Remind me that you are still on the throne and all I have to do is surrender my will to you and you will handle my all my cares, worries and fears, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

​For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25 Lord, thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, that we may be redeemed. I know I am a sinner and fall short of your glory daily, I thank you for your grace and forgiveness, O God. Keep me near to you and help me remember the great sacrifice that was paid on the cross that I may have eternal life at your side, I pray in Jesus, my Savior's name. Amen

Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God

​For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38 Merciful Lord, I thank you for your never ending and amazing love, I thank you for the hope and love you have given us in your Son, Jesus. May I treasure and reflect on your everlasting love and remember that nothing I have ever done, or will do, will ever separate me from your love. Live in me, O God, fill me with your loving kindness and help me be a reflection of your amazing love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:7-8 Father God, I need you every minute of the day, I take refuge in you and comfort in your holy Word. Send your angels to watch over me each day, O Lord, to watch over my loved ones and deliver us from all that would harm us or take us away from you. Give us your joy, your peace and help us not fear evil because you are with us, and you will take care of all our needs my God, my strength and my Lord of peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God

He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 Everlasting King, my God and my Lord, you are worthy of all honor, glory and praise. Show me how to live according to your purpose and will, O God, and what you require of me. Help me love as you love, be merciful as you are merciful, and to walk in humbleness and victory with you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, Jeremiah 29:12-13 Thank you Father God for hearing my prayers, for being attentive to my needs and stretching out your mighty hand to save me. I will seek you, with all my heart I will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, your love, Lord, endures forever. May I humbly walk before you today, O God, and may I bring honor and glory to your name, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow

​​But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34 Thank you Father God for being my refuge, my hope and my strength, for reminding me that you are in control of everything and I should not worry about the future. Help me replace worry with faith, O Lord, to remember to seek your kingdom and righteousness and you will take care of everything else in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be imitators of God as dear children

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 Thank you Lord for your kindness, compassion, forgiveness, mercy and grace, thank you for your sacrifice and amazing love. Help me walk in love, O God, help me imitate you and be the child you meant for me to be, that I may be a sweet-smelling aroma in this world, a sweet scent of the likeness of your Son Jesus, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:16-17 Lord God Almighty, thank you for leaving us your Spirit, for giving us hope and freedom, for setting us free from our sins and breaking the chains that bound us. Let your presence fill our hearts and minds, O God, empower us with your Spirit and give us victory over sin that we may be instruments of righteousness for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' precious name. Amen
