My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

​Pray that the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do. Jeremiah 42:3 Father God, thank you for being there for me always, thank you for teaching me your ways and hearing my prayers. I ask that your Holy Spirit will continue to guide me and teach me the way I should go, O Lord, that you encourage, protect and help me as I put my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:11-12 Help me fight the good fight of faith, O God, to stand strong in the mist of trouble and temptations and remain pure in your sight. Help me remember that you are always watching over me, Father, and to focus on an eternal life at your precious side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. James 3:13 Lord God Almighty, I thank you for your mercy and grace and for all of the blessing you have given me. I humbly come to your throne of grace to ask for heavenly wisdom, wisdom that can only come from you. Help me be a doer of your word, O God, help me be humble, kind and merciful as you are. May my actions reflect my love and obedience to your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 Almighty God, you are my hope, my strength and my trust is in you. Help me overflow with hope, fill me with your Spirit, love and blessings, O God, help me have peace and walk in victory knowing that with you I can do all things, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. Psalm 34:4-6 Thank you heavenly Father for hearing my prayers, saving me from all my troubles and freeing me from my fears. Please keep reminding me than no matter what I am going through today, you will be at my side, O Lord, and nothing should darken my joy because I have your promises, your mercy and your love in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14 Lord God, you are King for ever and ever, you do not forget the helpless and your have mercy on them. You examine the righteous, encourage them with your promises and listen to their cry. Help us trust in your unfailing love as we rejoice in your salvation and walk blameless in your righteous eyes, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 Thank you for the hope and promises you have given us, Father God, thank you for hearing our prayers and the amazing peace that only you can give, peace this world can't ever give or understand. Remind me not to be anxious about anything, guard my heart and mind, Lord, as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Just as people are destined to die once,  and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many;  and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.  Hebrews 9:27-28 Jesus, thank you for bearing my sins, thank you for your sacrifice and your amazing love for us all.  Thank you for the gift of salvation and for reminding me that you will come back again. May I proclaim your goodness and grace in everything I say or do, while I eagerly await your return, I pray in your precious name. Amen

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25 Thank you for your amazing and unconditional love, Lord, thank you for sending your Son that we may be redeemed. I know I am a sinner and fall short of your glory daily and I need your grace and forgiveness, O God. Keep me by your loving side and help me remember the great sacrifice that was paid on the cross that I may have eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 Father God, I could never thank you enough for sending us your Son, that we may be saved. I know we don't deserve salvation and we could never earn it, but we are grateful for your mercy and grace. Help me be a good and faithful witness for you and your kingdom, O Lord, that others may come to know your amazing power and love as I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25 Thank you Lord in heaven for delivering us from the domain of darkness, for giving up your throne in heaven and the price you paid on the cross for our sins. Fill us with your love and your Holy Spirit that we may walk in your ways. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, with more of you, O Lord, fill us with compassion and love for the lost, that we may share the great gift of eternal life with them, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

​But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:4-5 Jesus, you were oppressed, afflicted and wounded for our transgressions, yet you never gave up, you could have walked away, but you did not. Your love for us is more than we could ever understand, but I am so thankful for your unfailing love. Help me keep my eyes on you, O Lord, don't ever let go of me, don't let me turn away from you. Fill me with your eternal peace, my Lord and Redeemer, I pray in your precious name. Amen

God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:8-10 Thank you Father God, for sending us your Son, that we may live an eternal life at your side. May I always remember the great price that was paid for my sins, O Lord, and may I testify of your amazing love everyday with my actions, I pray in Jesus' precious name. Amen

“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Isaiah 48:17 Sovereign Lord, my Redeemer, help me to know your ways, teach me your paths, lead me in your truth, be my refuge, my fortress and shield in times of trouble. May I have peace flowing like a gentle river as I follow you and walk in you ways, O Lord, and surrender my will to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:31-32 Father, thank you for giving us your Son, Jesus, that we may have eternal life, thank you for the opportunity to know you and love you. Walk with me daily, O God, let me feel your loving presence in my life, let me be righteous in your sight, repent and surrender all to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:7 Father, I thank you for finding me, a lost sinner, and carrying me on your shoulders, thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for your overwhelming, never-ending love and for your perfect patience with me. Set me free, take away all my sins, pride, bitterness, pain, fears and hate, Sovereign Lord. Keep reminding that I am now your child, that you already paid the ransom for all my sins, that I am chosen and forgiven, I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 Thank you Lord, for loving me so much, for being gentle and kind to me even though I don't deserve you. Thank you for letting me come to you just as I am, weak, helpless, and burdened. I ask that you give me rest, the kind of rest that only you can give to my soul, that I may rest in your loving arms, as I surrender my life to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. 1 John 1:8-10 Merciful and forgiving Lord, I humbly come to you today asking you to forgive all of my sins. I ask that you cleanse me and purify me, Father. Fill me with your Spirit and and lead me in the path or righteousness. Help me to be the person you want me to be, and live in the footsteps of my Savior Jesus, I pray in His Holy name. Amen

You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:24-26 Thank you Almighty God for taking hold of my hand and guiding me, thank you for being patient and merciful. My flesh and heart are weak and may fail, O Lord, but I ask that you be my strength and portion forever, that you keep reminding me that you are all I need and nothing on this earth could ever compare to the riches you have planned in heaven for us, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. 2 Samuel 22:29-30 Merciful Lord, Thank you for being our light, thank you for turning our darkest moments into light, for giving us hope, strength and encouragement. Keep reminding me that with you at my side, all things are possible, O God, help me trust in you whenever I am facing difficult times, be my rock, my refuge, my salvation and give me victory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12 Blessed be your name, O God, thank you for your promises and your protection, thank you for the hope you have given us and for your mercy. Though I may walk in the mist of a storm, though I may face many trials in this life, I know that you will deliver me, that you will hear me when I call. Please send your heavenly angels to lift me up and keep me safe merciful Lord, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. James 4:7-8 Praise be to you, Mighty God, creator of the universe, who have great mercy and love for your people. Help me submit my completely to you, O Lord, give me the power and strength to resist the attacks of the enemy that he may flee from me. Bring me close to you, give me your everlasting peace and pour your Holy Spirit on me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
