My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,“I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord. Instead,“If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:19-21    Merciful Father, It is not easy to forgive, but it is so easy to lose our tempers and want revenge,  I thank you for reminding us that revenge belongs to you, O God. That we are your ambassadors on earth and we need to show your love,  compassion and forgiveness just as you do for us. Empty out the unrighteousness inside of us, fill our hearts with your  spirit  u ntil they overflow, I pray in Jesus name.  Amen 

If you, Lord, kept a record of sins,  Lord, who could stand?  But with you there is forgiveness,  so that we can, with reverence, serve you.   Psalm  130:3-4 Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace and mercy, thank you for not keeping a record of my sins,  thank you for giving us your Son, that we may know you through Him and for the hope of eternal life.  I know that nothing is beyond your mercy and forgiveness and I humbly ask that you forgive every sin I have committed,  cleanse me, come and live into my heart, O Lord, and let me serve you with reverence and honor, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:9-11 Father in heaven, thank you for your amazing and never ending love, thank you for your promises of an eternal life at your side. Help me, O Lord, to cling on to what is good, to be devoted to honor you by doing your will, by sincerely loving and uplifting others. May I serve you and bring glory to you in all I say and do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 Father God, I am so thankful for your promises and reconciliation through your Son, Jesus. Give me guidance, wisdom and strength to be a new creation.May the desire of my heart be to please you in everything I do, Oh Lord,bless me as I put my faith and hope in you, I pray in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus.  Amen

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3 :16 Sovereign Lord, whether in the darkest of moments or in our greatest of victories, to you be the glory, O Lord, we know that you are in control of everything. Lead and guide us each day, and give us your loving peace at all times and in every way, no matter our circumstances, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Luke 12:25 Merciful Lord, you are our righteous Savior and nothing is out of your control and I know that you already have a plan for my life. I ask you to please help me remember not to worry about anything because you are already at work, even if I cannot see it. Help put all my worries and fears at your feet and fill me with your heavenly peace, O God, and remind me that you will fight all my battles for me and give me victory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. Matthew 12:33 Father, you are the true God, our Creator who loves us with eternal love, I am sorry for every careless word that has ever come out of my mouth. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit of wisdom, help me grow in faith and knowledge of your will. Replace all that is not good in me with your goodness, mercy, grace and love that out of me, will flow rivers of living water. May I produce good fruit for you everyday and bring honor to your name, I pray. Amen

You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20 Merciful and loving Father in heaven, blessed be your holy name, thank you for being so patient with me, thank you for being a forgiving, gracious and compassionate God. Help me be more like you, O Lord, create in me a clean and new heart, slow to anger and abounding in love. Help me to listen more and guard my lips that I may not cause pain to anyone. May I be filled with your Spirit so that I walk in righteousness before your eyes, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Send me your light and your faithful care,let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43:3 Merciful Father in heaven, light my path, teach me your way, lead me in the straight path that leads to your throne of grace. Help me be your sunbeam that others may know you and see you through in me, O God. Walk with me and keep me in your faithful care as I put my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds." James 2:17-18 Thank you for reminding me that I can be a blessing to others in many ways, Father God. It is easy to loose sight of what is important in this world and forget to be your hands and feet. Please, help us remember to demonstrate our love and gratitude for you with our actions and not just in words, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.  Psalm 34:7-8 Merciful Father in heaven, blessed be your holy name, I take refuge in you and comfort in your promises. Send your angels to watch over me each day, O Lord, to watch over my loved ones and deliver us from all evil, evil doers and anything that would harm us. Remind us not to fear because you are with us, and you will take care of all our needs. Be our strength and give us your peace knowing that we are in your holy hands, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8 Gracious Father in heaven, I humbly ask that you cleanse my heart and mind, remove any thoughts that are not in alignment with your truth. Help me to examine my thoughts in light of your Word, O God, purify my mind and my heart so that evil will not find a dwelling within. Overflow my heart and mind with your love, peace, joy, gentleness, kindness, and mercy and let me focus on everything that is praiseworthy, pure and lovely, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,  though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,  though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.  Psalm 46:1-3 Mighty God, you are the Lord who speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.  Have mercy on us, O God, according to your abundant mercy. Help us remember not to fear because you are with us, help us focus on the things of your kingdom and not on our fears of the unknown. Keep us under your loving care and strengthen our faith as we keep trusting in you daily, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,  whose hope is in the Lord their God.  He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea,  and everything in them, he remains faithful forever.  Psalm 146:5-6 Merciful and loving God, creator of all the heavens and earth, I thank you today for the hope you have given me in this dying world,  I thank you for your promises of a better future, of an etern al kingdom that will never end.  You have given me blessings beyond measure and I humbly ask that you continue to be with me each day,  through my victories and defeats, my successes and failures, O God, fill my heart with your hope and joy  that I may walk victorious regardless of my circumstances, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,  the name of the Lord is to be praised.  The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.  Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,  who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?  Psalm 113:3-6 Sovereign Lord, you are clothed with splendor and majesty, you are full of love and compassion for your people,  and there is none like you in heaven or earth.  I come to your throne of grace today to praise your Holy Name, to give you glory and thank you for your abundant blessings upon my life.  May your loving hand be upon me today, may I walk humbly in ways and when the sun sets,  may my lips continue to praise and worship your Name, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. John 13:34-35 Almighty God, thank you for loving me unconditionally, thank you for teaching me how to love and forgive. Keep reminding me that I should love and forgive as you did, O Lord, that I am just a sinner and not better than anyone else in this world. May I be your true disciple by being a reflection of your love in this world, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Proverbs 11:2 Father, I praise you for your abundant blessings and grace, I thank you for teaching me that you give grace to the humble. Grant me the virtue of true humility and wisdom, O God, keep me strong in faith, but humble in spirit. May you be glorified in all I say and do and may you continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5 Father God, you are faithful, full of great mercy, love and kindness, and I am thankful to be your child. Show me your ways, O God, guide me in the ways I should go, teach me to be humble and fill me with your Spirit that I may walk in righteousness in your eyes. Help me keep my eyes focused on you, and put my hope and trust in you always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is my strength and my shield;  my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.  My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.  Psalm 28:6-7 Praise be to you, Lord God of heaven and Earth, Creator of the universe, I am so thankful and privileged to know you and have you in my life.     Father,  continue  to strengthen my faith, to be my refuge in times of trouble, be my shield and protect me from the evil one and from anything that would harm me or take me away from you.  Hold me in the palm of your precious and loving hands and carry me forever, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen
