The Lord Our Righteous Savior

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, 
 “when I will raise up for David  a righteous Branch,
 a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.
 In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. 
This is the name by which he will be called: 
The Lord Our Righteous Savior. 
Jeremiah 23 5-6

Jesus, Son of the living God, you are just and righteous, and I am so thankful that you are my Lord and righteous Savior.I'm thankful that you love me as I am, that you came to this world willingly to be a living sacrifice for our sins.May I walk in your footsteps, may I be humble, good, just and loving, just as you are, I pray in your Holy Name. 
Amen

Fix your eyes on Jesus

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 Blessed Lord, I thank you for the hope you have given me in Jesus, your Son, I thank you for your love and promises, and most of all the gift of salvation. I bring you all my fears, my disappointments, the worries of this life, O God, and I ask you to help me remember this life is but a moment compared to your promised eternity. Help me keep my eyes focus on Jesus, help me walk faithful and with perseverance the path you set before me, and throw off everything that is sinful in my life, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen
