Seek the Lord and His strength

Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! 1 Chronicles 16:8-11
I give you thanks, O Lord for all that you have done in my life, and all that you will still do. I call upon your Holy Name and ask that you be my strength, that you continue to hold me in your loving hands and fill me with your love and spirit as I continue to trust in you, I pray n Jesus' name. Amen

Fix your eyes on Jesus

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 Blessed Lord, I thank you for the hope you have given me in Jesus, your Son, I thank you for your love and promises, and most of all the gift of salvation. I bring you all my fears, my disappointments, the worries of this life, O God, and I ask you to help me remember this life is but a moment compared to your promised eternity. Help me keep my eyes focus on Jesus, help me walk faithful and with perseverance the path you set before me, and throw off everything that is sinful in my life, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen
