God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
Blessed redeemer, thank you for your sacrifice on the cross, for being judged on our behalf, for humbling yourself and carrying the cross, you who knew no sin, paid the ransom for all while we were yet sinners and powerless. Thank you for showing us how much you love us, O Lord, help us to glorify your name in all we do, to put all our hope in you, to follow your footsteps and love and forgive others with your everlasting love, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

  1. THE MASONIC LODGE AND CHRISTIANS BY STEVE FINNELL

Is it possible to be a member of the Masonic Lodge and remain in good standing with God? Can a Christian be a member of two religions simultaneously? Many Mason reject the premise that the Masonic Lodge is a religion.

    THE FACTS

    1. Masons assemble in a Masonic Temple.

Temple Defined: An edifice or place dedicated to the service or worship of a deity or deities.

    2. The presiding officer in each Lodge is called the "Worshipful Master."

    No explanation needed.

    3. Mason's teach freedom from sin.

Lexicon of Freemasonry, by A.G. Mackey, p.16 under the word ACACIAN: Acacian---term signifying a Mason who by living in strict obedience to the obligations and precepts of the fraternity is free from sin.

Is Masonic freedom from sin compatible with Christianity? Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

    4. The Masonic Handbook claims Mason's have their own Redeemer.

[From Kentucky Monitor, page XV] All antiquity solved the enigma of the existence of evil by supposing the existence of a Principle of Evil, of demons, fallen angels, Ahriman, a Typhon, a Siva, a Loki, or Satan, that, first falling themselves, and plunged into misery and darkness, tempted man to his fall and brought sin into the world. All believed in a future life, to be attained by purification and trails; in a state of successive states of reward and punishment; and in Mediator or Redeemer by whom the evil Principle was to be overcome and the Supreme Deity reconciled to His creatures. The belief was general that He was to be born of a virgin and suffer a painful death. The Hinus called him Krishna, the Chinese, Kiou-yse, the Persians, Sosiosch; the Chaldeans, Dhvanai; the Egyptians, Horous; Plato, Love; the Scandinavians, Balder; Christians, Jesus; Masons, Hiram.

CAN A CHRISTIAN HAVE TWO REDEEMERS?

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

TWO SAVIORS IS ONE TOO MANY!

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18  Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Help me surrender my life to you, O Lord, to give you my heart and receive your love and abundant blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Fix your eyes on Jesus

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 Blessed Lord, I thank you for the hope you have given me in Jesus, your Son, I thank you for your love and promises, and most of all the gift of salvation. I bring you all my fears, my disappointments, the worries of this life, O God, and I ask you to help me remember this life is but a moment compared to your promised eternity. Help me keep my eyes focus on Jesus, help me walk faithful and with perseverance the path you set before me, and throw off everything that is sinful in my life, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen
