Lord, you bless the righteous

Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalms 5:12

Merciful God of wisdom and power, you are full of grace, justice, faithfulness and truth and I thank you for surrounding me with your favor like a shield.  I believe, receive, and declare I have your favor in my life, as I walk in humbleness and obedience before you, O Lord, be my guide, my shield and Lord of my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
