My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:10-12 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions and wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from all my sins. Create in me a pure and clean heart that longs for your righteousness and does your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you And give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26 Merciful Lord in heaven, bless me and keep me, let your face shine upon me and be gracious and merciful to me. May your peace that surpasses all understanding be with me regardless of what goes on around me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full. Proverbs 8:20-21 Father in heaven, thank you for another day of life, thank you for giving me a chance to know you, love you and serve you. Help me seek the path of of righteousness and justice, O God, bless me and fill me with the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and may the riches of your grace be poured on me as I do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him. Luke 2:39-40 Thank you Father God for your Son, Jesus, our loving Savior, for the priceless gift, which words have no power to say. Give us humility and gratitude, fill us with love, joy, wisdom and your grace, O Lord, and may we treasure your word in our hearts and minds for ever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger. Luke 2:11-12

 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”  Luke 2:13-14 Glory to you, O God in the highest heaven, for your amazing gift to all of us, for loving us with unconditional and eternal love. May your favor rest on us, O Lord, may your peace be with us as we glorify you, give you honor and praise, in the name of our wonderful Savior and Redeemer, Jesus, I pray. Amen

‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’ Luke 2:6  Blessed Lord, ruler of all, I thank you for being my God and Savior, I thank you for coming to this world to deliver us and lead us to eternal life. Help me follow you and be obedient to your will, O Lord and help me seek you with all my heart, I pray. Amen

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Fill us with knowledge, understanding, wisdom and grace, O God, help us treasure your word in our hearts and be obedient to your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called  Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 Merciful Father in heaven, I thank you for your gracious and loving son, Jesus, our wonderful counselor and prince of peace. I accept your gift of love, mercy, peace and eternal life. I ask that you fill me with your spirit and strength, O God, that you help me keep my eyes on you and your heavenly kingdom that I may become a new creation in Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,  that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  John 3:16-17 Father God, thank you so much for the greatest gift you could ever give us, your Son, Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Please remind me that nothing in this world could ever compare with this gift and the gift of eternal life. Help me walk in obedience and share the good news with everyone I know that they too may rejoice and be blessed, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.  And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.  1 John 4:13-14 Praise be to you, Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, thank you for your great mercy and unfailing love for all your children, thank you for sending us your Son to save us. May we be filled with your Spirit and love that we may witness to others, O God, may you live in our hearts as we walk in obedience and have your blessings and prosperity, I pray in the precocious name of your Son, Jesus. Amen

An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" which means “God with us” Matthew 1:20-22 Blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for sending us your Son to save us and give us hope. It is so amazing to know that you love us so much that you would send us a Savior to deliver us from our sins and show us the way to redemption. Help us remember that you are always with us, O God, and that celebrating the birth of our Savior is not just for Christmas, but each and every day, all year long, I pray in Jesus precious' name. Amen

Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” 2 Chronicles 32:7-8 Blessed and loving God, I thank you for your amazing promises, I thank you for being with me always and never leaving me. Help me remember whenever I get afraid or discouraged that you are greater than anything I am facing, O Lord, that you will fight my battles and will have victory over them, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. 1 Timothy 4:10 Loving and merciful Father in heaven, thank you for the hope you have given us in your son Jesus, thank you for salvation and the hope of eternal life in your kingdom. May I be an example for others, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity and obedience, O God, that they may see you in me and also believe, I pray in Jesus, my Savior' name. Amen

His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. Luke 1:50-52 My soul glorifies you Lord and my spirit rejoices in you, my God and Savior, I thank you for your great mercy and grace and all of the mighty deeds you have done in my life. Keep me humble and meek, O God, that I may bring you honor and glory as I serve you in holiness and righteousness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he that is hasty of spirit show their foolishness. Proverbs 14:29 Lord, guard my lips and give me patience and understanding, help me be slow to anger and think about the words that come out of my mouth before I speak. Help me remember that we are all your children and you love us all, O God, strengthen me with your Holy Spirit and bless me. May I be a blessing to others and may they see your love in my actions everyday, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:32-33  Merciful God in heaven, direct my footsteps each and every day, teach me your way that I may follow it to the end. Turn my heart toward you and my eyes away from worthless things, teach me knowledge and good judgment. May your unfailing love come to me, Oh Lord, may sin have no dominion over me and may you be gracious to me according to your promises, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 Mighty and loving God, It is easy to get caught up in the pleasures of this world and to lose focus of what is truly important in life. Help me be content with what you already have given me, O Lord, help me focus on your heavenly treasures and promises. Help me count my blessings daily and remember that you will provide for all my needs and you will never leave me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 4:11-12 Father God, I ask that you instruct me in the way of wisdom, that you lead me on the right path and keep me in your loving arms. Help me turn away from anything that will take me away from the path that leads to an eternal life at your side, O Lord, guard my heart and keep my lips from anything that is unrighteous, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress,and he hears my voice. He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me.  Psalm 55:16-18 Blessed Lord in heaven, I thank you for hearing my prayers, I thank you for being so merciful to me and for saving me from my troubles. I humbly come to your throne of grace to ask that you will continue to watch over me, to watch over my loved ones who are in distress, who are hurting and who need you as much as I do, O God. May your loving hand be upon us today and every day, may you heal our wounds and broken hearts and may your angels watch over us as we put all our trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4 Merciful Lord, let your grace and love shine in our hearts and give us the light of the knowledge of your glory. May we be a reflection of your shining light in this dark world, O God, may your light shine through when all seems dark in our lives that we may see your glory and be filled with hope, grace and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Pray that the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do. Jeremiah 42:3 Father God, thank you for being there for me always, thank you for teaching me the way and hearing my prayers. I ask that your Holy Spirit will continue to guide me and teach me the way I should go, O Lord, that you encourage, protect and help me as I put my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
