If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. 1 Peter 3:10-12 Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, help me search for peace and do what is right in your eyes. Set a guard over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my lips, do not let my mouth lead me into sin. Help me be swift to hear, slow to answer, O God, may my words be kind and gracious and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43:3 Merciful Father in heaven, light my path, teach me your way, lead me in the straight path that leads to your throne of grace. Help me be your sunbeam that others may know you and see you through in me, O God. Walk with me and keep me in your faithful care as I put my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 Lord of heaven and earth, you are the God of hope, who gives peace to those who trust in you and love you. I ask that your hope and joy overflow in my heart each and every day, O Lord, that you will bless me, fill me with your Holy Spirit. Give me endurance and encouragement as I focus on you and your eternal kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? Psalm 8:3-4 Creator of heaven and earth, how majestic is your name in all the earth, the heavens declare your majesty, your greatness and your power. When I consider this I wonder why would you care about each one of us on this earth, and you were willing to send your precious Son to die for us. I thank you for being our loving, merciful and forgiving Father, who loves us and embrace us when we come to you in full repentance. Keep me close to you and never let go, O Lord, continue to bless and love me with your everlasting love, I pray in Jesus' precious name. Amen

​ Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Psalm 37:4-6 Lord God, I delight in you, your Word and your promises, I thank you for being faithful and loving, and for loving me as I am. I come to you in repentance and accept your free gift of salvation through your son, Jesus, I commit my way to yours. Give me hunger for your Word and a heart for the lost, O God, I ask you to remove from my heart anything that is unrighteous in your eyes, take the desires of my heart and replace them with yours, fill me with your Spirit that my desires become yours, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​ Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of your face shine on us. Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8 Lord God, lift up the light of your countenance upon me and fill my heart with joy and peace. Keep reminding me that you are bigger than anything I may face each day, O Lord, let me feel your presence near and your loving hand upholding me. May I lie down and sleep and wake up with peace, knowing that the Creator of the universe is watching over me and I should not fear, but trust, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is the one you praise; he is your God. Deuteronomy 10:20-21 Faithful and loving Lord in heaven, you are Lord of all Lords and you have called us to worship you and serve you, you equip us for the work you have planned for us. Please give us discerning and obedient hearts as we faithfully seek you. Help us surrender our lives to you, O God, that we may enjoy the fullness of your amazing love and abundant blessings, use us to be a blessing to others, use us for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14 Mighty God in heaven, teach me to love as you do, to be patient, full of kindness, humility and compassion. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness, clothe me with your Spirit and fill me with your love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Psalms 143:8 Loving Lord, Creator of all, I am so grateful for your unfailing love and wonderful promises, I surrender my will to you and put all my hope and trust in your loving hands. Show me the way I should go, O God, teach me your paths of grace, mercy, integrity and love; guide me in your truth, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18 Loving Father in heaven, it always amazes me to know that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, and that your thoughts are loving thoughts, not thoughts to harm me or thoughts of condemnation. May I walk each day I get to wake up being thankful and grateful that I am still with you, O God, grateful for every blessing you have given me and for each moment I have with my loved ones, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Merciful Lord in heaven, thank you for being so patient with me, thank you for loving me with all my imperfections. Help me love as you do, O God, help me be patient and kind to others as you are with me, help be a mirror of your amazing and unfailing love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 Lord, I will never be able to fully understand the amazing sacrifice on the cross, but I do cherish and appreciate it. I know that I will never be worthy of your love, but I am grateful to have it. Bless me, O God, strengthen me and keep reminding me of your amazing love daily, may my ways be blameless before you, may my thoughts be pure as I continue to trust in you always, I pray in Jesus' my Lord and your precious Son's name. Amen

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:34-35 Father God, I thank you for your gracious and loving Son who paid my debt in full on Calvary, thank you for loving me with your eternal love. May I be obedient to your word, O Lord, may I follow Jesus' example, love as He loves and be more like Him each day. May I submit fully to your will, rather than the inclinations of my own heart and may I bring honor and glory to your name in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 Thank you Lord for your kindness, compassion, forgiveness, mercy and grace, thank you for your sacrifice and amazing love. Help me walk in love, O God, help me imitate you and be the child you meant for me to be, that I may be a sweet-smelling aroma in this world, a sweet scent of the likeness of your Son Jesus, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer Romans 12:9-12 Thank you Lord, for the amazing privilege you have given us to be able to come to you anytime with our prayers. I bring all my cares and burdens and lay them at your feet, O God, I ask that you take care of them and fill me with your Spirit. Help me love without hypocrisy, abhor what is evil, cling to what is good and rejoice in the hope I have in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8 Almighty God in heaven, I come to your throne of grace today with a grateful heart and I thank you for you merciful love. Let me be an instrument of your love, O Lord, let me be your hands and feet and see the need of others, that they may see your love in me and all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. Colossians 3:12-15 Heavenly Father, Creator of all, thank you for choosing me to be your child, even though I fall short of your glory every day. F ill me with kindness, humility, meekness and patience, help me be compassionate and forgiving as you are, O Lord. May the peace of your son Jesus rule in my heart each day, as I put my trust and hope in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 Almighty God, your love never fails, your love is unconditional and eternal and I am thankful that you love me as I am. Change my heart, O Lord, give me a heart that longs to do your will and loves as you love, a heart that does not have lust, greed or hate in it, a heart full of your love, joy and peace. May my actions reflect the gratitude and the love I have for you in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Heavenly Lord, teach me to love as you love, to be patient, kind and be forgiving. Give me a heart like yours, a heart to love without reservations. Help me be gentle and loving, O God, to rejoice in truth and bear all things with hope and faith in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.1 Peter 3:3-4 Thank you merciful Lord, for creating me and loving me just as I am, grant me the unfading beauty of a gentle, quiet and kind spirit, O Lord. Remind me that the beauty of my heart and soul is more important to you than the way I look like on the outside or what I wear. Help me seek heavenly riches and bring you honor in all I say and do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
