Fear the Lord your God and serve him

​Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is the one you praise; he is your God. Deuteronomy 10:20-21

Faithful and loving Lord in heaven, you are Lord of all Lords and you have called us to worship you and serve you, you equip us for the work you have planned for us. Please give us discerning and obedient hearts as we faithfully seek you. Help us surrender our lives to you, O God, that we may enjoy the fullness of your amazing love and abundant blessings, use us to be a blessing to others, use us for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Fix your eyes on Jesus

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2 Blessed Lord, I thank you for the hope you have given me in Jesus, your Son, I thank you for your love and promises, and most of all the gift of salvation. I bring you all my fears, my disappointments, the worries of this life, O God, and I ask you to help me remember this life is but a moment compared to your promised eternity. Help me keep my eyes focus on Jesus, help me walk faithful and with perseverance the path you set before me, and throw off everything that is sinful in my life, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen
