My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19 Merciful Father, I humbly come to you today to ask for your forgiveness, to ask you to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Teach me patience, remind me to listen and never to react in anger, Father God, give me a loving, forgiving and gentle spirit, one that is after your own heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I lift up my eyes to the mountains where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3 I lift up my eyes to my Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, where I know my help comes from. Thank you father God, for your mercy and grace, I know that you are not asleep, and nothing comes to you as a surprise. I know that everything happens in my life for a reason and you make all things beautiful in your time. Please continue to watch over me, O Lord, continue to walk at my side and lift me up, as I bring you glory and honor in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. "Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.  Philippians 2:14-15 Heavenly Father, I want to be blameless and pure in your sight, I want to do things without grumbling or arguing. Help me shine for you, O Lord, and hold firmly to your Word as I do everything for your glory and your honor, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12 Lord, your word is truly living and powerful, it penetrates our hearts and minds and it applies to us today as much as it did to your children thousands of years ago. Give me hunger for your Word, O God, give me wisdom and understanding that I may use it to bring hope to others and not as a weapon against them. May your wonderful, powerful and living word be a guiding light in my daily walk with you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18 Father God, you are my King and my God, my stronghold and my strength in times of trouble, and I thank you for always hearing my prayers. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit, O Lord, may no circumstance steal the joy and peace that you have given me. May my heart always rejoice with thanksgiving and may your love dwell richly in me as I trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:5-7 Merciful God in heaven, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you for your mercy and grace. I need the wisdom that can only come from you, O Lord, remove any doubts and fears from my heart. Help me believe that you will do as you have promised and trust in you with all of my heart as I walk in your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth their words to the ends of the world. Psalm 19:1-4 Creator of heaven and earth, I stand in awe daily of your marvelous works, the heavens proclaim the work of your hands and the beauty of your love. Father, continue to work in me, may I also be the work of your Holy hands and may my voice always proclaim what an amazing and awesome God I serve, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:9-11 Loving and merciful Father in heaven, I thank you for your promises and hope, for the joy and love that you have given us. Help me cling on to what is good, O Lord, to be devoted to honor you by doing your will, by sincerely loving and uplifting others. May I serve you and bring glory to you in all I say or do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​A nd this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. 1 John 3:23-24 Heavenly Father, thank you for your amazing and unfailing love, thank you for the gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus. Please change my heart and fill me with your Holy Spirit that I may be able to love as you do, and forgive as you do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8 Gracious Father in heaven, I humbly ask that you cleanse my heart and mind, remove any thoughts that are not in alignment with your truth. Help me to examine my thoughts in light of your Word at all times. O God, purify my mind and my heart so that evil will not find a dwelling within. Overflow them with your love, peace, joy, gentleness, kindness, and mercy and let me focus on everything that is praiseworthy, pure and lovely, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3-4 Loving Father in heaven, help me focus on you in a child like manner, realizing I am dependent on you for everything that matters in this world, doubting in nothing, but believing your Word and promises. Help me be humble and surrender my will to you, O Lord, that I may be able to grow in faith and strengthened in my walk with you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Have mercy upon me, O God,According to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2 Father God, have mercy on me, I am a sinner, I confess all my sins to you and bring them to your throne of mercy and grace. I ask that you wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, O Lord, uphold me by your generous and loving Spirit, guide and teach me your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Merciful and loving Father in heaven, there is no end to your amazing grace and unconditional love. Thank you for reminding me that I have been saved through faith, not because of what I say or do, but because it is your gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus, to all those who believe. Cover me with your love, O God, stir in me a fire that the world cannot explain. May my works be done only in gratitude, to bring honor and glory to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22. Precious Lord in heaven, I cast all my cares upon you today, I bring my fears, burdens and worries at your feet. No matter what I face today, help me remember that you are with me, O God, and that you will take care of everything according to your will. Keep reminding me not to worry or live in fear, but to just trust in you and not be shaken because you will sustain me as you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Psalm 84:11 Thank you Father God, for being a sun and shield for those who love you and walk blameless before you. I know that you love me and want the best for me, O Lord, do not withhold your blessings from me, guide my feet, that I may walk in righteousness and blameless before you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:20-21 Open my eyes and ears, Lord, that I may hear your voice and open the door of my heart to you and the things of your heavenly kingdom. Come into my heart, O God, live in me and fill me with your Spirit, let me be attentive to your voice that I may sit with you in your throne of grace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Thank you Father God, for your promises, for being so patient with us, for waiting for each of us to come and surrender our lives to you so that we will not perish, but have everlasting life. May the desire of my heart be like yours, O Lord, that no one will perish, that all should know you so they too will be in your glorious kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:30-31 Loving Father in heaven, I thank you for your blessings and love, I thank you for being my strength, my hope and my rock. Help me walk in your ways, O God, help me remember that beauty and charm is deceptive, but what matters is to walk in righteousness and in your love. Bless me, fill me with your peace, your wisdom and your love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 Glorious Father in heaven, all of creation is a reflection of your amazing glory and love. Remind me that anything that reflects hatred, violence, greed and envy is not from you. Change my heart and spirit, O Lord, make me more and more like you each day and change me into your glorious image. May my desire be to be a reflection of your love in all that I am and all that I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.  Ephesians 5:1-2 Father God, I thank you for being our example, I thank you for showing us what love really is, and loving us with all our imperfections. I want to be like you, O Lord, but I know that can't be like you on my own, I need your Holy Spirit to empower me, I need your divine power to guide me and fill my heart with your righteousness. Help me be the person you want me to be and walk in the way of love with a gentle, pure and loving spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen​

Submit to God and be at peace with him in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart. Job 22:21-22 Merciful and forgiving Lord, I thank you for your amazing blessings, your loving-kindness and everlasting love. Give me a tender and loving heart, one that will submit completely to you, that I may enjoy your peace and prosperity; an obedient spirit and gentle attitude, O God. May your words be forever in my heart as I put my trust completely in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11 Sovereign Lord, you are my refuge and strength, my place of safety; a very present help in times of trouble and I rejoice in your Holy Name. Spread your protection over me, O God, over my loved ones, fill me with your love and let me feel your arms around me that I may walk in victory without fear regardless of my circumstances, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
