Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity

​Have mercy upon me, O God,According to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2

Father God, have mercy on me, I am a sinner, I confess all my sins to you and bring them to your throne of mercy and grace. I ask that you wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, O Lord, uphold me by your generous and loving Spirit, guide and teach me your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
