Righteous, loving God in heaven. We humbly come to your throne of grace asking you to have mercy on us, on our Nation and our leaders and all your people. May your mercy and loving hand be upon us, may you guide our way and give us wisdom and understanding, O Lord. May we learn to fight all our battles on our knees, as we seek you with all our hearts. May our prayer be set before you like incense as we thank you and praise you in the name of Jesus, our loving Savior. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
