Because I live, you also will live

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.  Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. John 14:18-19

 Lord Jesus, I can face each day because I know you live, thank you for your amazing promises, thank you for not leaving us alone, but leaving us your Spirit. I humbly ask that while I am on this earth, you fill me with your Spirit and help me live for you, help me honor you in all I do, O God. Let me see your glory daily in my life, let me feel your arms wrapped tightly around me and keep me by your loving sight until your return, I pray. Amen

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18 Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
