For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

Father, thank you for your promises, love and strength and for calling me to live a holy life. Fill me with your spirit of power, love and self-discipline, O God, help me remember to press forward in victory.Help me not to live in fear, but walk the path you have set before me with confidence knowing that there is great power in the name of my Jesus, my Savior, your beloved Son, I pray in his holy name. Amen.

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
