“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. Psalm 91:14-16

Blessed Father in heaven, thank you for your promises and your protection, thank you for the hope you have given us and for your great mercy. Though I may walk in the mist of a storm, though I may face trials in this life, I know that you will deliver me and save me. Bless me O Lord, be with me and my loved ones as we put our trust in you and call upon your name, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18 Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
