Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son,and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

Merciful God, I thank you for the greatest gift to mankind, I thank you for the chance you have given us to reconcile through your Son, Jesus, our wonderful Redeemer. Deliver us from unrighteousness O Lord, teach us your ways, purify our hearts and help us to do your will. May our hearts rejoice as we remember and celebrate our Savior's birth this season, I pray in his precious name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
