I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you

“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17

Holy Lord, thank you for your loving grace, thank you for teaching me the way I should go. Only you know what is best for me so I leave everything in your Holy and merciful hands, my Redeemer. Direct my path and teach me to trust in you with all my heart and give you praise in all circumstances, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
