The testing of your faith produces perseverance

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:1-4

Father God, sometimes is hard to consider pure joy when we are facing trials and going through the storms of life, but I thank you for reminding me that you are working on me, and that the battle is not mine, but yours and with you at my side I will persevere. Help me stand firm in faith and joyful, believing that you will fight every battle and bring me through any circumstance, O Lord, let me praise you, not only when the battle is over, but also when I am going through it, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
