Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body,

but it makes great boasts.

Consider what a great forest

is set on fire by a small spark.

James 3:5

Lord and Father in heaven, thank you for being my God, my hope and my fortress.

Help me be mindful of what comes out of my mouth, help me be peace-loving and considerate, may no corrupt words come out of my lips,

guard them that they may give you honor and build up others, not tear down, I pray in Jesus' name.
