let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us


 And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3


Thank you Jesus, for enduring the cross that I may have eternal life, thank you for your amazing sacrifice.
Help me keep my eyes focused on you no matter what happens in my life. Help me not to grow weary and lose heart, but keep faithful and persevere the race before me, I pray.

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
