The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise
as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you,
not wishing that any should perish,
but that all should reach repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
Thank you Father God, for your promises, for being so patient with us, for waiting for each of us to come
and surrender our lives to you so that we will not perish, but have everlasting life.
May the desire of my heart be like yours, O Lord, that no one will perish, that all should know you
so they too will be in your glorious kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name.
Amen
“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
