God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 1 John 4:16-17

Merciful and loving Father in heaven, how priceless is your unfailing and unconditional love for us. Thank you for showing us the wonders of your great love and for showing us the way to eternal life through your precious Son, Jesus. Help me be more like Jesus, O Lord, help me love unconditionally and have a gentle and upright heart. May your unfailing love, faithfulness and goodness be with me and follow me all the days of my life, as I put all my hope in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
