He is faithful and just

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9

Thank you heavenly Lord, for being faithful and just to forgive my sins, I am a sinner and I know I fall short of your glory daily. I ask that your mercy and grace continues to be with me, O God, that you purify me from all unrighteousness and wash away my sins. May your loving care be upon me as I walk in the path you have set before me, I pray in Jesus, my Savior's name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
