Humble yourselves

“God opposes the proud but favors the humble.” So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. 1 Peter 5:5​
Merciful and forgiving Lord, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for being my God and my King, thank you for allowing me another day of life to serve and worship you. Teach me to be humble, to turn away from arrogance, O God, help me be gentle, patient and loving as you are. May my actions help lead others to your throne of grace, I pray in Jesus' name.Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
