The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident. Psalm 27:1-3
Merciful Father in heaven, I thank you for being my defense, my comforter, my redeemer and strength. I humbly ask that you help me stand confident and firm in my faith regardless of the crashing waves and the storms I may face, O God. Fill me with your strength and your merciful love, let me feel your gentle hand upon me that I may not live in fear, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18 Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Help me surrender my life to you, O Lord, to give you my heart and receive your love and abundant blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
