But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; Let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11 Sovereign Lord, you are my refuge and strength, my place of safety; a very present help in times of trouble and I rejoice in your Holy Name. Spread your protection over me, O God, over my loved ones, fill me with your love and let me feel your arms around me that I may walk in victory without fear regardless of my circumstances, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts,God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18 Loving Father in heaven, it always amazes me to know that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, and that your thoughts are loving thoughts, not thoughts to harm me or thoughts of condemnation. May I walk each day I get to wake up being thankful and grateful that I am still with you, O God, grateful for every blessing you have given me and for each moment I have with my loved ones, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. He rescues me unharmed from the battle waged against me. Psalm 55:16-18 Blessed Lord in heaven, I thank you for hearing my prayers, I thank you for being so merciful to me and for saving me from my troubles. I humbly come to your throne of grace to ask that you will continue to watch over me, to watch over my loved ones who are in distress, who are hurting and who need you as much as I do, O God. May your loving hand be upon us today and every day, may you heal our wounds and broken hearts and may your angels watch over us as we put all our trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Matthew 5:44-46 Loving and forgiving Lord, sometimes it is not easy to love those who have hurt or wronged us. I ask that you take away any anger, bitterness and hatred from my heart, clothe me with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Teach us to pray for those who have wronged us, Father, to extend your mercy and forgiveness to them, so that they may also come to know the peace of Christ you have given us, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the LORD, and he answers me from his holy mountain.I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. Psalm 3:3-5 You are my shield, O God, and I know that you are close to those who call upon your Holy Name. I am so thankful that I can sleep in peace and wake up knowing that it is you who wakes me up and sustains me. May your loving arms surround me and may I never forget you are my loving Father, who will always take care of me, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 Merciful Lord, you have full power and authority over everything, your Word is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Help me demolish any strongholds in my life, O God, equip me for battle against the spiritual forces I face daily, feed my spirit with your Word and strengthen my faith, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2 Thank you Lord for your compassion, forgiveness, mercy and grace, I am so thankful for your amazing and everlasting love. Help me walk in love, to imitate you, your goodness, your kindness, to be the child you meant for me to be, O God. Help me be a fragrant offering for you in this world and for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. I humbly ask you to cleanse me from all sin and purify my heart, O Lord, help me walk the path you have for me. Help me to stay strong and firm in faith always, in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2 Thank you Father God, for your love and mercy, for another day of life, for new opportunities to serve you. Help me crave pure spiritual milk, O Lord, that I may grow in faith, in wisdom and in love for you and your Word. May everything I say and do reflect the love I have for you, may I bring honor and glory to your Holy Name, I pray in Jesus, my Lord and Savior's name, I pray. Amen.

The Lord reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:7-10 I thank you for your amazing love Father God, I thank you for your abundant blessings and grace and because you will never abandon those who seek you. You rule the world in righteousness and judge us mercifully, O God, may your grace, mercy and peace be with me as I seek you with all my heart daily, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he that is hasty of spirit show their foolishness. Proverbs 14:29 Lord, give me patience and understanding, help me be slow to anger and carefully think about my reactions. Help me remember that we are all your children and you love us all, O God, strengthen me with your Holy Spirit and bless me. May I be a blessing to others and may they see your love in my actions everyday, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil Psalm 141:3-4 Father God, set your guard over my mouth, help me speak gentle and kind words, words that build up rather than tear down, let them be sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Seal my lips from all unrighteousness, O God, remind me that I will be accountable for every word that comes out of my mouth. Don't let me be drawn to what is evil in your eyes, but draw me close to you and never let me go, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6 Father God, thank you for caring for me and loving me with your unconditional love. I humbly come to your throne of grace to give you all my cares, struggles, hurts, pains, disappointments, worries and anxieties, and I cast them at your feet. I ask that you take them away from me, O Lord, that you strengthen me and fill me with courage to face whatever comes my way. May I stand firm in faith and be at peace knowing that everything is in your loving hands and you will take care of them according to your holy will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Psalm 46:1-3 Mighty God, you are the Lord who speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Have mercy on us, O God, according to your abundant mercy, help us remember not to fear because you are with us, help us focus on the things of your kingdom and not on our fears of the unknown. Keep us under your loving care and strengthen our faith as we keep trusting in you daily, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Matthew 5:8 Mighty Father in heaven, blessed be your name in all of the earth, you are perfect in all your ways, you are mighty and merciful and I am thankful to be your child. Create in me a clean and pure heart, O God, mold me and make me into the perfect creation you meant for me to be that I may be able to see you one day, walk with you and worship you for eternity, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:20-21 Open my eyes and ears, Lord, that I may hear your voice, that I may open the door of my heart to you and the things of your heavenly kingdom. Come into my heart, O God, live in me and fill me with your Spirit, let me be attentive and obedience to your voice and your will for my life that I may sit at your side for eternity, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. Psalm 108:5-6 Blessed be the name of the Lord, my God, my maker, for great is your love and your mercy for us, who do not deserve it. My flesh is weak, but my spirit is willing to do your will, O God, save me, strengthen me, deliver me from sin and unrighteousness and make me a new creation, that I may live to honor you and give you glory in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name.
