He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding

He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he that is hasty of spirit show their foolishness. Proverbs 14:29

Lord,  give me patience and understanding, help me be slow to anger and carefully think about my reactions. Help me remember that we are all your children and you love us all, O God, strengthen me with your Holy Spirit and bless me. May I be a blessing to others and may they see your love in my actions everyday, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
