Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.Isaiah 43:18-19

Lord Almighty, you are the true and living God, the eternal King, full of compassion and mercy and I am thankful to be your child. Help me not to dwell on the past, but to focus on the wonderful and amazing blessings you have given me today and all the new blessing to come. Help me see the needs of others and not just my own, O God, that I may become the person you created me to be, I pray in the name of Jesus, our Righteous Savior. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
