The thoughts of many hearts will be revealed

“This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. Luke:34-35

Almighty, living God, thank you for the greatest gift to mankind, your Son Jesus. Help us seek His words that give hope, inspiration and light to our lives as the darkness of this world increases.  Help us live our lives letting His words influence our hearts, our thinking and our actions, and give direction to the course of our lives. May your Holy Spirit fill our hearts so that, the same love, mercy and goodness of Jesus can be revealed through our lives, I pray in His Holy Name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
