My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:13-16 Father God, thank you for the privilege you have given us in prayer, thank you for your promises of hearing our prayers and answering them according to your will. Help me remember that just because I don't get the results I want does not mean you did not hear my prayer, O Lord. Help me remember that you are in control and know what is best for me, even when I don't understand, may all of it be for your glory I pray, in Jesus' name. A

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. Psalm 90:1-2 Father God, you are my God and I am thankful that you chose me to be yours, I am thankful to know you as I know you and to serve you because you are not only a loving God, but you are my God. May your favor and everlasting love dwell with me and my generations all the days of our lives, Lord my God, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103: 1-5 Blessed Lord in heaven, thank you for your lovingkindness and tender mercies, thank you for renewing my strength and for your loving promises that give me hope. Bless my life, O God, forgive all my iniquities and heal all my diseases according to the riches of your grace, I pray in Jesus' name. Am en

  And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord , choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord .” Joshua 24:15 Father God, I choose to follow  you, I choose to serve you and have you as my God and my Lord. I ask that you bless my home, my family and my loved ones and that your Holy Spirit will dwell in us, O Lord, I ask that you fill our home with your abundant love, in Jesus' name. Amen

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.   Let us not become weary in doing good,  for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity,  let us do good to all people,  especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians: 6:7-10 Help me sow what pleases you, O God, that I may receive your amazing and never ending blessings. Help me remember that no matter what people do, my actions and behavior should always reflect that I am your child. Give me a loving nature, O God, help me love unconditionally and always do what is good in your sight, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.   Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:1 Lord, thank you for being the true vine, for pruning me when I need to be, that I may bear more fruit for you. Keep reminding me that everything in my life is already written in your book, and all I need to do is trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

One thing I ask from the LORD,    this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD    all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD    and to seek him in his temple.  For in the day of trouble    he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent    and set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:4-5 Blessed Father in heaven, praised be your name in all of the earth, you are my strength and my refuge, you always hear my voice when I call,  Be merciful to me. keep me safe in your dwelling, teach me your way, O Lord and lead me in a straight path, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 Lord, you are my hope, you are my strength and my trust is in you. Help me overflow with hope, fill me with your love and blessings, O God, help me have peace in my heart and walk in victory knowing that with you I can do all things, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16 Father God, I am far from being righteous, I am a sinner, and I humbly come to your throne asking for forgiveness of my sins. If there is unforgiveness, resentment or bitterness in my heart or anything that is hindering my prayer, I ask that you wash it away, cleanse my O Lord, that you my be attentive to my prayers; guard my heart and never let me wander from the truth, in Jesus, my Savior's name I pray. Amen

Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens Psalm 113-:3-4 I praise your holy name, O Lord and I thank you for another day of life, another opportunity to walk in the footsteps of my Savior, to be an instrument for your kingdom and another day of being blessed by you. Thank you Lord for all that you have done in my life, for all that you are doing and all that you are still going to do for me, I praise your name and give you all of the honor and glory, in Jesus' name. Amen

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.  Proverbs 22:6 Father God, thank you for the hope and encouragement you give us for our children, thank you for your wonderful promises. Though some may seem to be in hopeless situations, we can be re-assured that your Holy Spirit will never give up on them. Help me be an example, and most of all, to lead by example, O Lord, and to be faithful in prayer that none of your children will perish, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:10-11 I may not understand everything I am going through right now, Lo rd, but I will stand firm in my faith knowing that you are in control and have a great plan and purpose for my life. Keep reminding that no matter what I am facing, you will always be with me, O God, and that everything will be beautiful in your own time, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds. Psalm 149:4-5 Father God, I want to be your humble servant, I want you to delight in me and all I do. Help me walk in victory, O Lord, help me rejoice in you always, day and night and bring honor and glory to you, I pray in Jesus' name.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 Merciful Lord, thank you for your reassurance, thank you for your promises and encouragement. Sometimes the troubles of this life can be overwhelming, but I don't want to live in fear or be discouraged. Lord, be with me wherever I go, guide every step I take and keep giving me that peace that surpasses  all understanding that I may stand strong and courageous, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord; do not remember our sins forever. Oh, look on us, we pray, for we are all your people. Isaiah 64:8-9 Merciful Lord, you are our loving and forgiving Father in heaven, I thank you for being so patient with me, I thank you for your unconditional love. I ask Father God, that you mold me into the person you want me to be, that you shape my life and guide my path, let me be the work of your wonderful hands as I surrender my life to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:5-8 You are my refuge and strength, O God, my salvation and my fortress in this fallen world. Help me, O Lord, to trust in you at all times, regardless of my situation, to find rest in your arms and remember that you are always in control of everything, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.   Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.  Ephesians 6:12-13 Merciful Lord in heaven, it is easy to forget that my struggles come from the dark world and forces greater than I can handle, help me remember that I am a victorious warrior because the battle is not mine, the battle has been won by Jesus, my Lord. Help me put on your full armor to fight against the attacks of the enemy, O Lord, to be ready for anything that comes my way. Keep reminding me that I am yours and with your help, I can stand my ground and be victorious, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”  Romans 1:16-17 Father in heaven, blessed is your name in all of the earth, thank you for the Good News of salvation, thank you for giving us your Son that we may know you and give you glory. Strengthen my faith, O God, fill me with your Spirit, bless me according to the riches of your glory, may the love of Christ dwell in my heart and may I walk and live by having complete faith in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Humble yourselv es, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5 Father God, I bring all my anxiety and worries and lay them at your feet. I ask for your peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding; I ask that  you will strengthen me and fill me with your Spirit that I may face another day. Lift me up in your time, O God, and let me feel the warmth of your embrace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Good and upright is the Lord: therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great. Psalm 25:8-11 I humbly come to your throne, O merciful and loving God, asking you to forgive my sins, forgive my iniquities, though they are great. Teach me your ways and guide my path, show me and help me walk the path you have set before me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.   Mathew 6:31-34 Father God, I know you already know what I need before I even ask, I know that my life is in your hands, but sometimes the worries of this life, the uncertain future for my life is more than I can bear. I ask that you fill me with your strength, that you help me remember your promises and your words. Keep reminding me that all I need to do is seek your kingdom first and everything else will happen according to your will because you are in control of my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
