My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:5-7 Merciful and Loving Lord, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you for your mercy and grace. I need the wisdom that can only come from you, O God, remove any doubts and fears from my heart. Help me believe that you will do as you have promised and help me trust in you with all of my heart as I walk faithfully in your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:8-9 Creator of all, to you be the glory and the power for ever and ever, I humbly ask that you help me walk in your ways and be more like you. Help me to be your humble, loving servant, forgiving an compassionate with a gentle and kind spirit. May your eyes be upon me, O God, and may your ears be attentive to my prayers as I do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12 Lord, your word is truly living and powerful, it penetrates our hearts and minds and it applies to us today as much as it did to your children thousands of years ago. Give me hunger for your Word, O God, give me wisdom and understanding that I may use it to bring hope, love, joy and encouragement to those around me. May your wonderful, powerful and living word be a guiding light in my daily walk with you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. Psalm 130:3-4 Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace and mercy, thank you for not keeping a record of my sins, thank you for giving us your Son, that we may know you through Him and for the hope of eternal life. I know that nothing is beyond your mercy and forgiveness and I humbly ask that you forgive every sin I have committed, cleanse me, come and live into my heart, O Lord, and let me serve you with reverence and honor, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

‘Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig-tree, but also you can say to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Matthew 21:21-22 Merciful Lord in heaven, thank you for your promises, thank you for the hope you have given us and the privilege of prayer. Thank you for hearing our prayers and answering them in your perfect timing. Help me be a prayer warrior, O Lord, may I come boldly to your throne of grace and pray for my needs and the need of others, believing with all my heart that you will hear me and answer according to you will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.  Every good and perfect gift is from above,  coming down from the Father of the heavenly  lights ,  who does not change like shifting shadows.  James 1:17 Father God, you are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and I am so thankful you are my God. I want to glorify you in all I do and not take your loving kindness for granted, give me a thankful and grateful heart to appreciate  every blessing your have given me, O Lord, to remember that every good and perfect gift comes from you.  May my heart always overflow with gratitude and may my actions reflect the love I have for you, I pray in Jesus’ name.  Amen

​All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16 Thank you Lord, for giving us your Word, to teach us your love, to guide us in the right path, to train us for your glory and to give us strength and hope. May I thirst for your Word daily, O God, and may I be obedient to your will as you fill me with your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey! Joshua 24:24 ​Mighty and merciful Lord, let me be still and to hear you whispering in my ear, let me hear your sweet voice and recognize it. Give me a willing heart to hear your words and obey, teach me, guide me and give me wisdom, O God, help me put all my trust in you and follow you with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Psalm 28:7-8 Merciful Father, Thank you for being my strength and my shield, thank you for the promises and comfort you give me through your Word. Give me hunger for your word, O God, that I may read it faithfully and meditate on it all day. Fill me with your Spirit and continue to strengthen me as I face any challenge that comes my way, help me trust in you through the storms of life, even when I don't understand, I pray in Jesus' name. For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth. Psalm 57:10-11 Thank you for your mercy and grace Lord, thank you for being my awesome God and my loving King and loving me unconditionally. May your glory be above all the earth, may I bring you honor and glory in all I say and do today, O Lord. Guide my steps and lead me to your kingdom as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 Thank you Lord for sending us your Son, Jesus, to be a light unto this world, to show us the way and give us hope. May His light shine brightly in my heart each and everyday and as I walk in His light and follow Him, may this world become dim. Help me be a bright and shining light for you, I pray in the precious name of your Son Jesus' name. Amen

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:5-8 Gracious Father in heaven, you are my refuge, my hope and my salvation, thank you for your mighty protection and love. Give me a desire for righteousness, O God, and help me trust and depend on you always no matter how things seem today, my mighty rock and refuge, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Luke 6:45 Almighty God in heaven, I thank you for being so patient with me, I thank you for saving a sinner like me, and loving me unconditionally. Father, fill my heart and mind full of your Spirit and love, may my lips be to edify and not tear down. May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 Merciful Lord, I know there is nothing bigger or more powerful than you, I know that you have full power and authority over everything. Your Word is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Help me demolish any strongholds in my life, O God, equip me for battle against any spiritual forces, feed my spirit with your Word and strengthen my faith daily, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5 Father God, you are faithful, full of great mercy, love and kindness, and I am thankful to be your child. Show me your ways, O God, guide me in the ways I should go, teach me to be humble and fill me with your Spirit that I may walk in righteousness in your eyes. Help me keep my eyes focused on you, and put my hope and trust in you always, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 Thank you, merciful Lord in heaven, for the gift you have given us in Jesus, for reminding us that our troubles are only momentary and for the hope of eternal glory. May I fix my eyes on Jesus, may I walk in His footsteps, grounded in faith and bearing good fruits in everything I do, I pray in his Holy Name. Amen.

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 Heavenly and merciful Father, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you for being faithful and for your faithful promises to guard and protect us. Keep protecting us, our loved ones, especially our children as they begin a new school year, O God. Guide them, direct their path and keep all evil doers away from them, guard their hearts, minds and souls. May your loving grace and peace fill our heart as we put our trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3 Thank you merciful Lord in heaven for your promises, your protection and for always watching over me. Keep reminding me that I should not live in fear, but trust completely in you, O God. Regardless of what happens around me, let me keep my eyes on you and remember your promises, that I will be at peace knowing that you will always be my refuge and strength, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:20-21 Merciful and loving God in heaven, I thank you for your amazing and unconditional love, I thank you for all the blessings you have given me. I know that we can have all the plans in our hearts that we want, but only you can make them happen, only your purpose will prevail in my life. Help me trust you completely with all my heart, O God, give me wisdom to accept your will, your plans and your perfect timing, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you? But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 Merciful and gracious God in heaven, I thank you for being a just and loving God.I ask that you help me be more like you, to love mercy and walk humbly with you everyday. Help me show mercy to others, to love like you do, O God, may I be a reflection of your love that others will see you in me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved. Psalm 96:9-10 Creator of heaven and earth, I praise you for being my God, my King and my Savior. I give you glory and honor and thank you for everything you have done for me and everything you have given me. May I feel your tender love and mercy every day, O God, and may I be reminded of your Majesty and splendor in everything you have created, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
